Questioning myself, pre-transition

Hello everyone!

I have recently became conscious of all the difficulties I had with being a man, and I have been heavily questioning my identity since.

I am unsure about my transidentity yet, and I am scared about whether I will love myself if I was to transition. I don't really know how to ask this, and I know no one can answer that question, but do you feel like I'd have good chances with a physical gender transition?

I am 25 years old, I decided to shave my beard which felt amazing, and the two first picture are how I am at work. The last 3 pictures are me trying lipstick and eyeliner at home 🙏 I feel more euphoric with my face slightly turned, but feel very masc when looking straight at the camera. I also know my biggest struggle is my hairline for which I started Minoxidil 2 months ago with almost no progress so far.

I'm also happy with any advice in general, both physical and how to apprehend my identity questions! My next steps are to trim my eyebrows, learn make up especially for the beard shadow, improve my skin and hair routine, and meet a psychologist more specialized in such questions.

Lots of love on all of you 🌼

First time ever! (25yo)

I have recently realized that I might have buried my gender dysphoria for years. I have been having a lot of questioning regarding my identity, which has been very difficult. I don't know if I am a trans person, or if I have the courage to be one. But tonight I decided to shave my face for the first time in years, and my partner help me do my eyeliner and lips!

What are the first steps for someone realising they had gender dysphoria all their life

Hey everyone,

I am a 25-year-old international man living near Lund in Sweden. I wanted to get some advice as I recently realised that throughout my whole life I've always had a lot of gender dysphoria, leading to depression and self-hatred.

Having recently realised that, I am a bit confused, uncertain and scared about how to frame things, know what's real for me or not, understand my identity, learn if I am indeed transgender, etc.

I thought it may be nice to discuss this with a specialised psychotherapist? But I do not know how to find a psychologist near me who would be friendly and specialised in those subjects. Should I first talk about this to my Vardcentral? But I would also be concerned about how friendly they are about this.

I have also read about the Vuxenpsykiatrimottagning könsidentitet in Malmö. However, it does seem like they only 'take seriously' people who present as very binary and confidently know about their need for a transition. I am not yet at a stage where I confidently know that I am transgender and want to start HRT. Therefore, I do not think directly going to such a clinic would be the best first step for me?

In general, I am seeking some advice about what your first step was when you started questioning your gender identity. And how to find a specialist who can help explore those questions in a friendly way.

Thank you very much!

That was a fun adventure! But a bit boring after a couple hours..

It was really interesting to try this game! The creativity behind it is really stunning and there is a ton of potential! The crafting system is brilliant and the liminal vibe really working!
As a programmer myself, I bet that this game was extremely fun to code as well!

In it's current state however, it quickly becomes a walking sim after a couple hours of exploration in my opinion... The vibe holds very well, but I quickly felt like I was exploring for nothing unfortunately. Really curious about potential future updates of this game tho!

A very likely super convincing theory on Subnautica 2's story (Almost a leak at this point)

The planet Proteus is actually the post-apocalyptic submerged future of the Pikmin's PNF-404 planet. Here on screenshots, undeniable proof of Pikmin onions landing sites found on Proteus.

Long freezes while playing any games

Hey everyone!

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad P1; Intel Core Ultra 9 with 64Gb; Nvidia RTX 3000 Ada with 8Gb, and I've been playing different games for quite some time without any problems! I can play some fairly recent big games without heating issues, and at 60 fps easily if I don't push the visuals crazy.

However, for the past 2-3 months, I have been experiencing some very sporadic but very long (2-3 seconds) video + audio freezes while gaming. They never crash the pc nor the game and everything resumes to normal after the freeze (no framerate drops between them or anything), but they are getting very annoying. I can't recall anything specific happening that would correlate with their apparition. I remember having experienced them for the first time when I downloaded and started playing Helldivers 2. It might also correlates with me re-installing the SteelSeries Headset app, but shutting down the app doesn't seem to solve the issue.

I experience those freezes on all my games, ranging from Helldivers 2, to way smaller games such as Hades, Celeste or even Undusted.

I have a feeling that they occur when something loads, as when I play Hades, Celeste or Undusted, they would appear during screen/level transitions. I've also noticed them happening sometimes when talking to NPCs in Hades. For Helldivers 2, it is harder to tell as it feels that they happen very randomly during missions, but also loading of elements is harder to pinpoint.

I've tried to update my drivers, empty some memory as my laptop was quite full and track for errors in the event viewers, but nothing to declare from that. I've tried to relocate my games from my HDD to my SSD as well, but nothing.

However I've noticed in the Performance tab or my task manager sudden drops in CPU and GPU usage when this occurs. You can see below for the GPU the constant spikes, then a short drop to zero when the freeze occurred, then going back to normal (it then goes to full 0 when I alt+tab to look at the task manager).

Does anyone have any idea what this could and what I could try to solve this issue?

Thank you very much for your help! ❤️
