Help me understand why my voice sounds low even though its high lufs

When it comes to editing, I understand everything except audio. Today I'm editing a video where I'm talking, my voice is around 14 YouTube LUFS (clean audio, no background noise) and sounds ok. Underneath it I have a reality show clip I'm reacting to, around 21 LUFS, but it's SIGNIFICANTLY louder than my voice. How is this possible?

Anyway to make windscribe work in Iran (other vpns work)

edit: i got it to work, had to change anti-cencorship settings to be may iran and set protocol to stealth

So im a premium user of windscribe. recently i came to iran to my surprise windscribe doesnt work here. whats weird is in my opinion inferior vpn like express vpn works just fine. i dont want to switch over to express vpn, and i need a VPN specifically with lots of location access ( i already have local vpn's here and my own server in europe but i specifically need the USA locations windscribe gives as its what i use to upload to my youtube and instagram channels)

[For Hire] Commentary channel video editor

I specialize in the commentary niche, ive been watching since i was 16. I also make my own videos so i am extremely well versed and researched in this niche. My own videos have 10+ minute retention rates, so i know well how to keep retention on videos.

My base rate is 8$ per hour, but we can negotiate different rates based on how edited, how long and how fast you want your videos.

My work portfolio is my youtube channel

(8$ HOURLY)

AVD vs AVP which one matters more

hey guys!
so i make commentary videos, and i kind of ping pong between highly edited scripted videos around the 10 minute mark, and longer reaction videos around 40 minutes long.

well something i noticed is that my 10 minute long videos have really good retention, but even if they have 100% retention, thats only 10 minutes of AVD.

while my 40 minute long videos consistently have 11-15 minutes of AVD.

i was wondering which one matters more on youtube, in your experience? also making the 40 minute long videos is much more easier and fun for me, but ofc they are lower quality editing wise

25-34 USA female audience potential RPM?

hey guys so im closed to being monetized, and im a guy who makes commentary videos. well i never expected to have a female audience, but i guess my interests line up with them as all my videos are 90% females, 85% 24-35 years old 60% in the USA.

now ive heard that beauty niches and travel and stuff with this audience gets a high rpm, but is it still high rpm if its a commentary channel? honestly just curious i dont care too much just surprised to have a mainly female audience

someone with 500 hours in csgo is called a beginner, someone 1 year into the gym is a beginner. your total 20-30 "Wasted" hours so far in content creation means nothing

so i see alot fo posts here (And i feel this myself) where its like you spend 20-30 hours sometimes on a single video to get no views. but then i think man i had like 2k hours on csgo when i was younger and that was a game i played "on the side".

you need to go gym for like 3 years to be considered amatuer.

this shit will not come overnight

how to increase playback speed while keeping pitch intact?

some parts of the video im making i just need to blaze through the audio, like on youtube when u make something 4x speed its intelligible but on davinci it sounds so highpitched and off that i cant tell whats going on. so the most i can fastforward using the L button while still hearing the audio intelligibly is on 200% speed. is there now way to change this? ive looked for a solution to this for a long time

Cant tell if videos are genuinely bad or just low views from niche switch

hey guys so ive done random youtube videos for like really since i was 8, think origami videos to educational videos to university textbook problem solving etc. anyways, 3 years ago i made a new account and made some meme/comedy videos on it. the first ones blew up, getting like around 800k views i think all together and gaining me 800 subs.

anyways slowly on this account i posted differnt comedy esque stuff, but not really any niche. anyways a few months ago i quit university to pursue youtube (dont judge me lmao)
and ive really locked down a niche which is commentary videos, like kuris connor etc. now im getting only around 50 views, and im having a hard time figuring out if its because youtube hasnt figure out my new audience yet or if the content is just that bad.

but like doing research and im following some creators with around 600 subs and their videos are less edited and not even scripted and they are getting atleast 1k views, but they also have around 30-40 videos out msot of them while i only have 8 in my new niche.

i know atleast comedy wise / content wise im not doing that bad because on instagram my skits get up to 200k views regularly (i only started doing sketches think old vine stuff around 2 months ago)

a few days ago i finally took the plunge also and privated all my old videos that had alot of views as at the end of the day event though they were also comedy their audience was difference and i felt like it was hurting me
