“Seed church” claims Scott County High School in Google Maps

So now all the students also get to go to some crappy church every time they go to school. This is one of the churches that “rents” public school space on Sundays instead of using one of the thousand other church buildings in the commonwealth.

Roku: Tile size reduced for apps to increase ad sizes

Roku streaming box. The right side ad size was increased substantially and additional ad tiles added at top (and for things I have zero interest in!).

I guess I need a bigger TV to actually find the apps I want.

Mom is retiring after 42 years as a nurse

And a lifetime as a Cards fan. Time for a new jersey.

Why is the attorney general announcing this?

What could he possibly have to do with this? Just for political gain?

Great quiet place to Kayak in Midway

I spent the evening yesterday on the South Elkhorn Creek, just outside Midway. Beautiful, quiet place with one terminus at the Weisenberger Mill.

There’s a nice rental place about sixty seconds from the mill. Happy to provide the name to anyone who wants it but don’t want it to come off like a commercial.

There’s very little flow to the creek, so be prepared to paddle both ways.

Thank you reddit

This was daunting for me but turned out to be easy and delicious thanks to this sub.

Also, got to use the first garden zucchini of the year!

Legacy trail Newtown/Citation

I’d like to ride from the horse park trailhead into the distillery district. Is the path passable at Citation/Newtown and if so, how is the road detour? Asking because I will have some younger riders with me and don’t want them to have to navigate anything too hairy.
