Hi, new Moto Guzzi owner here, based in the UK, recently bought a Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello 2025 standard model in Blu Oceano.
My issue is intermittent throttle hand numbness that I seem to only get at motorway speeds, around 4,500rpm at 70mph in 6th gear and can occur around the same speeds and in higher RPM in 5th too.
I'm 6'1 with a 29.5 inch inseam, so a slightly longer torso. Riding position isn't uncomfortable but I'm wondering if it's the angle my wrist is at with the throttle partially open whilst having significant vibrations at higher RPM. The numbness goes away when I take my right hand off the bar for a few seconds or get down to lower speeds. Left hand unaffected and is comfortable.
I'm consciously trying to ride with as loose a grip as possible and minimal weight on the wrists but the issue still happens on and off. I haven't had this issue with my two previous motorcycles, both vibey V-twins (KTM superduke 1290GT and Victory Gunner). I'm not sure tilting the controls forward will do any favours here due to the wrist position and vibrations, I could be wrong though and haven't tried this yet.
The bike is still in its break-in stage and is due for it's first 900 mile service in a few weeks, not sure if this will resolve things somewhat.
Please could I have your thoughts on what modifications/changes might be helpful here? It'll be interesting to know if the initial service addresses such things or if something like a handlebar riser has worked for anyone who has experienced this. If people recommend any modifications, brand recommendations would be great too.
This issue aside, I'm very happy with the bike, really fun and rewarding to ride.
Thanks all!
I'm looking at buying the V100s and am a little bit confused as to what's different across the 2024, 2025 and 2026 (latest) models.
For context, I'm in the EU.
From what I can see, the 2205 and 2026 comes with golden wheels and different green/grey colour scheme compared to the 2024. My preference is golden wheels however I'm not sure if it's worth potentially the extra money/wait just for that.
Are there any other key differences between the different years?
Hi all
Im looking at new tyres, ive finally worn through my gt angel 2’s, and im looking at eiryer Metzler roadtec or road 6. Im mainly riding to and from work, but i also love the twisties and also do some touring in there. Just seeing if anyone else has experience with these oj the v100 and can reccomend one
Me (V100 Mandello) and my friend (V85TT) randomly met this nice Italian with the Stelvio on top of the Nufenen pass last Saturday
Just want to share the scenery where my Bella takes me. First pics are RMNP, last three are Snowy Range in Wy.

Title pretty much says it all. I currently have a 2019 CB1000R in red, and I LOVE both the styling and riding personality to death. But. BUT. (And this is a huge but) there are a total of zero serious luggage options for it.
I’m looking to do multi-day road trips on her, visit the mountains, etc. I currently have a small commuter-sized side case that could maybe fit a single change of clothes, but even that is cobbled together and blocks access to the passenger pegs.
SO - I’m looking for a sporty performance bike that’s comfortable on longer rides, and natively compatible with larger locking waterproof luggage systems. (Preferably SHAD’s 3P/4P, though GIVI has some attractive options too)
As the title suggests, I think I’ve narrowed this down to either a v100 mandello or a Suzuki gsxs1000gt+. I haven’t seen one in person, but in photos the mandello looks stellar. (I just love a single sided swing arm, like my CB1000R) However in person, the 1000gt+ in red looks the absolute business too, and sitting in the saddle feels just like my current bike. I’m unable to test ride either, as I’m unaware of any dealers near me that allow test rides due to “liability reasons”. Speaking of dealers, I’d imagine parts for the Suzuki would be much easier to come by than the guzzi, as well as service information.
TLDR: has anyone ridden both these bikes and can offer some pro/cons to picking one over the other? Thanks!
Hopefully this helps out my fellow Guzzisti!
The Guzzi clutch tool is $250, so I made a printable fixture that does the same job.
CAD files are HERE if you'd like to make adjustments.
...waiting for parts to arrive is the hardest part.
Hi all. I'm currently riding a Triumph 765 RS ST3 which I absolutely adore. However I took it to Norway last year for a 7 day trip which was absolutely awesome. I'm now considering riding all over europe since I loved it so much... And naturally a bike switch MIGHT be on the table, I was PRETTY sore in my neck and butt after the trip.
My father always had a few Guzzis when I was young so I know the brand well and I love them old Guzzis, and I've been eying the Mandello S since it was released.
It so happens that the dealers around where I live have a hard time selling them so there's a few 2023 models out for 13.9K euros new which seems pretty damn good.
BUT: I am a very active rider on the 765 and I don't want to give up the ability to absolutely rip through a good section of twisty tarmac should I encounter one. I realize the Mandello will never be as nimble as the 765, but to those of you who are confident and fast street riders: How does it REALLY hold up when given the opportunity? If I'm not looking to drag my knee, how far is the footpegs? When I tried the V85TT the pegs scraped immediately but I suspect they are further up for a sportier ride on the Mandello.
Anyone here have issues with their V100 turning left quite aggressively when taking their hands off the bars? Have had this issue since I got my 2024. It’s not road camber causing it, and it’s not just under heavy acceleration — happens even while in cruise control at moderate speeds. I have to hang my entire body off to the right to compensate for it.
