New Jersey EVOffer Seat Installation

The replacement seat cover from EVOffer just landed on my radar. I'm curious if anyone has installed or had them installed in the area.

I'm aware they could be done at home, but my garage is extremely tight and I can easily see the project ballooning into a multi day affair. Much easier to pay an experienced shop.

I went with the Zero Gravity after a bunch of back and forth in my head and some conversations with the rep. Will update once install is completed.

Making & Mounting fuse holder bracket

I have a 2016 F150 2.7eb and this is my first car audio installation but I'm trying to keep the wiring and mounting of components as clean and professional looking as possible. I'm running a 4 gauge power wire so am looking for ideas of mounting locations in the engine bay near battery for the fuse holder. Most of the install videos I've seen just glance over this part. Others discuss 3D printing a bracket which is not feasible to me.

I've seen several people say they've just used velcro, but I am not so sure how good an idea that is in the engine bay. I picked up a sheet of 1/4" ABS to cut/bend into a bracket for the fuse holder next to the battery. I have access to basic power tools and a cordless jigsaw I can use. Are there any particular bolts nearby the battery that are typically used to mount these brackets? Anyone have any photos of the mounts they've used? I'm actually very surprised there are not third party brackets available for purchase.

Power Wire guage Rockford Fosgate PS-8

For those using this sub, what is the largest wire accepted by the PS-8 power plug that you have used? This is my first car audio install. I got a bunch of kit delivered while I'm away for work and was planning to install when I get back. I thought I had ordered everything I needed, but I had seen mixed answers online about the power wire size.

I had planned to run larger power to the back in case I upgrade down the line, so grabbed a 4awg wiring kit. The PS-8 Owners Manual says the power plug accepts up to 4AWG power wire. The bot on the website says 14 awg max size for power wire. Crutchfield says it comes with a 12 awg kit. The tech on the phone wouldn't give me a straight forward answer and just kept insisting I use the wire with the kit. He told me to "just run whatever you want and use a distribution block and the power wire we include." issue is I was going to use that including amp wiring kit for the Kicker key 200.4 in installing behind the dash. I was going to run both off the battery and mount the sub behind the rear seat. I didn't want to run power back then all the way back up front to the amp. Now I'm thinking I'm going to have to get a separate fuse and wire to this sub. I can't find any fused distribution blocks with a 4awg input that will accept a 12 or 14 awg output. What I thought was going to be straightforward with minimal wiring is getting annoying before I even start.

It seems multiple properties have closed award booking ahead of the devaluation it seems. I was waiting for my work vacation to get approved before booking. I had looked on Hyatt app and MaxMyPoint up until last week and all my properties were wide open. I just booked PH Beaver Creek and went to book Andaz Papagayo now that my dates are finalized and it's closed out starting Christmas.

I'll have to come up with a backup trip for March to book I guess. I'll see what the prices look like after they open it back up. This is a double whammy, as my daughter's school put out the academic calendar for fall and decided to start before Labor Day literally for the first time ever. I had to put in to change my vacation last minute and rebook GH Kauai. With the new dates had to cut the trip by a day and it still cost me an extra 30k points with the new booking.

This is such trash. Are there other known properties who have closed points bookings? If not done already maybe someone should start a list. 0
