My (32M) fiancee (29F) insists on riding in the cart at stores.

Not all the time. In fact, it’s rare. But every now and then, when she’s tired or something, and I ask if she wants to go to the store with me, she’ll say only if she can ride in the cart. At this point, I feel as if it’s an easy way of saying she doesn’t want to go, because I feel uncomfortable being seen pushing my 29-year-old fiancee around in a cart in a public space. But she’s dead serious. And thinks I “care what everyone thinks” about me, and that it’s ok to be silly sometimes. I can be silly and goofy at times, but typically in private. What is the internet’s opinion on this? Because I literally never see this whenever I go to these stores. I only see children riding in carts, and even that is uncommon. I’ll add that she’s pretty small (about 5’0 tall), and could easily fit in the cart, and I could easily push her, but it just seems like something that would be drawing unwanted attention.

Fast-casual restaurant asked me for a tip before I even received the food

I found myself at a fast-casual restaurant today (Hungry Greek in San Antonio, Florida if anyone's curious) and I literally just ordered a gyro TO GO and looked down to pay and the machine was asking for either a 25%, 20%, or 15% tip. I was like wtf, I haven't even received my food yet lol I have no idea if this food is good or not yet, and they're literally just doing their job. I'm assuming they're getting full wages as well, unlike typical traditional restaurant staff. Nobody went "above and beyond" for me, I just walked up and the lady took my relatively simple order. I'm not even planning on eating here so nobody has to clean up after me (as if I would just make a mess anyways). This felt more like a bribe than a tip. Luckily "no tip" was an option.

Just lost our boy to a venomous snake bite. He was 9.

After some fun exercise and play in the woods near our home, his favorite way to spend the day, he started acting unusual. We had no idea he was bit by a snake and just assumed he was very hot, so we let him cool down and rest, but his symptoms kept getting progressively worse, so we rushed him to the urgent care. They found a snake bite on his back paw and ran some labs, which suggested a grim outcome that not even antivenin could have saved. He was a great dog, still youthful and energetic up to his last day.

Guys that lift together / in groups

Just curious, what do you guys do together? Every time I try to lift with one of the guys, unless they're willing to follow the exact programming (and therefore have the exact same fitness / lifting goals) that I'm on, it quickly turns into just being at the same gym together but not actually hanging out. My program might call for squats on Wednesdays, for example, and that's the only time a friend is free to hangout so why not do something we both enjoy together, but he might have just blasted legs the day before because that's what his program called for, so it quickly becomes pointless that we even bothered to meet up at the gym at a specific time because we're on opposite sides of the gym the entire time. Whenever I see a group of guys or even two that always seem to lift together, I'm wondering if it's really just one person calling all the shots and the rest of the group is sort of just going along with it, like a trainer/trainee relationship, because two guys running their own program very quickly turns into working out alone every day.
