Let me use examples from Seasons 1-4 to explain so that even anime-onlys would understand. This Season was not handled very well. Anime-onlys may not know what is wrong with this Season because they don't know what was cut from the Light Novels, but they DO KNOW that there was SOMETHING wrong in this Season that they can't put their finger on.

Let's look at the obvious one: the finale. You see that Rozemyne's lower city family were DEVASTATED when they heard the news that their daughter and sister went into a coma. Then, the anime studio decided to have an instant resolution the SAME EPISODE. Even though it was a timeskip two years later, it killed the emotional weight of how Rozemyne's family felt when they heard the news.

Imagine if they had done this in Season 1 when Myne told her family she only had a year left to live. This episode was one of if not THE BEST episode of that season because it allowed the audience the time to digest the gravity of Myne's desire to accept death if it means spending the rest of her days with her family rather than spending a lifetime without them. The actual episode ended with Gunther drinking in front of the fireplace alone away from the rest of his family while they slept.

Not having an instant resolution was what made that episode great. Even though the resolution to Myne's devouring was introduced 1-3 episodes later at the Temple, it didn't erase the impact of that episode because it didn't happen in the SAME EPISODE.

Now imagine if Myne told her family that she had a year left to live, only for an instant resolution for the audience to appear in the SAME EPISODE through a timeskip, how would that impact the episode?

You would take away what made that episode great and essentially destroy the emotional weight of Myne's love for her family and willingness to die to be with them. That's what Wit Studio has done to this episode finale for Season 4 and all throughout the ENTIRE season that anime-onlys didn't notice.

This episode finale was done so badly that EVEN anime-onlys noticed something was wrong, but Studio Wit has been doing this the WHOLE TIME.

They cut content so that they could focus on the plot, but the stuff they cut was what gave the plot meaning, that's why a lot of this season felt soulless.

Even when you compare Season 3 Sylvester to Season 4 Sylvester, they're completely different. In Season 3, Sylvester had a playful, prankster nature; and often teases Myne by poking her cheek and making her say "Pwee", like a Big Brother teasing his little sister. You don't see that in Season 4 Sylvester. Sure, technically he did it ONCE to Rozemyne after being frustrated that Rozemyne was the one who let Georgine know that Bezewanst passed away, but you don't see Season 3 Sylvester in the Season 4 version of him.

Let me tell you anime-onlys that Season 3 Sylvester isn't dead. Season 4 Sylvester is supposed to be the same person (personality and all) as Season 3 Sylvester, but Studio Wit stole him from you in the same way Veronica stole Wilfried from Florencia and molded him into someone you don't recognize.

You were robbed of not only the trouble-making gremlin Light Novel Readers call Rozemyne, you were also robbed of her gremlin big brother we call Sylvester.

Now, you anime-onlys may have some grasp of how Light Novel Readers felt about how this Season was handled and executed.

Let me tell you about my encounter. Today, I was traveling along Jarvis going South of St. Lawrence Market located on Jarvis and Front street. As I approached the Loblaws located on Lakeshore, there was a build-up of cars on the right-most lane with direct access to the 401 Highway ramp.

Those familiar with the geography would know that the middle lane in this area is consistently empty compared to the right-most lane since it doesn't access the highway ramp and today was no different.

I rode on the middle of the middle lane when unexpectedly, a Driver in a van next to me in the right-most lane yelled: "Get on the Bike Lane!"

I replied: "What Bike Lane? Idiot!"

The man himself wasn't driving behind me but was in the lane parallel to mine stuck behind a train of vehicles in front of him, yet he was so triggered that I took an entire lane by myself with no vehicles behind me that he told me to take the Bike Lane where none existed.

Car drivers are so entitled that they have no awareness to their surroundings.

It looks like relief from the Wild Fire Smoke is only temporary for now because a shift in wind direction is blowing wildfire smoke back towards our region.

We're only in the eye of the storm, meaning that it's still not safe to be outside and cycling right now.

I am pleased with the statistics this news report gave surrounding increased cycling activity and lowered motor vehicle volume during the FIFA World Cup. Hopefully, city officials will do something useful with that data. As for provincial officials, I have no hope until we vote them out.

It's like Disney designed the action sequences to pair with the Gekiranger theme, but chose not to use it for whatever reason and went for their own brand of music instead for the official episode.

Let me share my experience today:

I was traveling along the Adelaide bike lane. At the intersection of Adelaide and University, there's a bunch of cyclists bunched up at the red light, which isn't anything abnormal.

When the light turned green for cyclists at the intersection of Adelaide and University, each cyclist started moving. The problem here is that the guy ahead of me on an orange bikeshare ebike started turning left with no warning and had absolutely ZERO awareness to his surroundings.

Because of this, he knocked me down in the middle of the street. Luckily, I wasn't hurt, but I was pissed. Even though he asked if I was okay, he didn't even apologize and seemed apathetic about his carelessness like he's just going through the motions. I yelled at him saying:

"WTF, you gave zero warning and didn't signal. You didn't even apologize". The man, still apathetic said in a monotone voice: "Sorry, I'm used to driving".

I'm pretty sure this is a regular occurrence to him considering how little he cared about his own negligence. He probably had his license suspended and opted to use a Bikeshare bike to get around.

Does being a driver dull your senses to the point that you have ZERO awareness to your surroundings and make you a soulless robot unable to care about the consequences of your own carelessness? A different cyclist asked if I was okay, so I decided to let the matter go and move on.

As I mentioned before, luckily I wasn't hurt, but was just knocked over. However, things could have been really ugly if the timing was different with the traffic lights and cars were allowed to move since I was knocked over in the middle of University Ave when it happened.

This is a pretty good quality video and the first video for a new channel featuring Toronto's TTC. I thought it deserved some attention.

This video was technically posted a month ago and was based in Vancouver, but it's pretty relevant considering what happened recently.

I bought a brand new bike rack and attached foldable metal baskets to it with the included mounting fasteners. It's been about 1-2 months, but the rack shows signs of wear with some parts grinded out at the points of contact.

Does anyone have any suggestions on bike protectors/products or maybe the kind of tape that would be suitable to protect the rack from further damage? This is brand new and I don't want it to be ruined within 5 years.

This disgusting propaganda smear video makes my blood boil. The only people who buy this crap are those that don't live here (aka Drivers who came from somewhere else).
