Your house is the dungeon. Survive until dawn.

THIS HOUSE WANTS YOU DEAD is a little experiment I made for the One Page RPG Jam 2026.
You’ve just moved into your dream home. Bought for a song at auction. The previous owner died there of “natural causes”.

Your goal is simple: survive until dawn.
Instead of generating a fictional house, you use the layout of a home you already know, preferably the one you live in. As you play, doors stop leading where they should and you map the contradictions.

The solo oracle uses your house key and two coins, and the scenes ask you to physically interact with the space around you: turning off lights, staring through dark windows, listening at the front door, looking into mirrors…
The kind of things that creep me out in the middle of the night, in a darkened room when everyone else is asleep.

It’s PWYW on itch if anyone fancies giving it a go:

Would genuinely love to hear how people get on with it.

Silent Horizon - a solo sci-fi horror adventure compatible with Death in Space

Hey again folks, hot off the back of my solo Mörk Borg game, Of Coal & Corpses, I’m taking a step step into another corner of the extended Borg family for a smaller sci fi thing.

The Kickstarter pre launch page for Silent Horizon has just gone live, its a standalone solo adventure and toolkit built for Death in Space.

Inspired by Solaris, Silent Hill and Event Horizon, its set aboard a failing station in a decaying orbit around a dead world.

Your mission is simple, destroy the Silent Horizon.

The adventure is designed specifically for solo play, using procedures, tables and in-world discoveries to guide you through the station as you uncover what happened there and decide the stations fate.

The Kickstarter will fund a physical zine , which I’ll be showing off properly once I have the proofs in my hands. It will also be available digitally.

I’ll be back over the coming weeks to show off more of the book, talk through some of the solo mechanics and share a closer look at how the adventure plays.

For now, you can follow the campaign here:

If you have any thoughts or questions in the interim I'd love to hear them!
Thanks Folks

Hey again folks. Hot off the back of my last solo game, Of Coal & Corpses, I’ve got a smaller solo sci-fi zine in the works and its Kickstarter pre launch page just went live.

One year later, my solo RPG finally became a real book

About a year ago I shared the first bits of this coming together. A little solo game inspired by coal mines, industrial Britain and folk horror, built on the MÖRK BORG ruleset.

Back then it was little more than this messy hand-drawn logo (that I ended up drawing all over and around), a Google Doc with about a zine's worth of content, and the dream of seeing it in print and having people actually take it to their table.

Back then it was called Corpses & Collieries. And, unsurprisingly, I never shared that logo with anybody.

Fast forward a year, and somehow that sketch is now a finished book sitting on my desk.

It's been a very busy year. Writing and playtesting, running a Kickstarter, working with freelance artists, formatting and editing, and learning far more about printing, shipping and publishing than I ever expected.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here who offered feedback, encouragement, criticism or simply followed along while it slowly took shape. It genuinely made a difference.

If anyone has any questions about the design process, Kickstarter, production, or the game itself, I'm happy to answer them.

Bad news, it’s petition time

Rumours of Xbox selling undead labs and SoD3 at risk of cancellation.
Fuming doesn’t even cover it!!
Has anyone started a petition yet?
