N-Zik – Multilingual YouTube Music client, fork of Kreate (offline downloads, stats, Discord RPC, 40+ languages)

Hey r/fossdroid,

I've been working on N-Zik, a fork of Kreate focused on UI/UX improvements and feature expansion for a multilingual YouTube Music frontend on Android.

What it adds on top of the original: (aleready in kreate but most of them are rewamped)

- Multilingual support across 40+ languages (community-translated via Crowdin)

- Download individual songs or full playlists for offline use

- Background playback

- Listening stats

- Audio visualizer

- Discord Rich Presence

The project has grown to 123 stars and around 15,500 total downloads so far.

License: GPLv3

N-Zik isn't affiliated with YouTube, Google, or the original Kreate author. Feedback, bug reports, and translation contributions are very welcome!

irobot j5+ stuck on 24.29.03 Software update unavailable' even though 24.29.6 is out?

Hey,

My Roomba j5+ is currently on firmware 24.29.02 / 24.29.03, and whenever I check for updates in the iRobot app, I get the message Software update unavailable".

However, according to iRobot's release notes, version 24.29.6 was rolled out starting March 19, 2025 for the j5, j6, and j7 which should include the j5+. It includes a fix for a false sealing error (error 352).

Is anyone else in the same situation? Could this be a staged rollout that just hasn't reached my unit yet, or is there something on my end I should check (app cache, account region, Wi-Fi, etc.)?

Thanks

Title : [Xiaomi 17 Ultra / Leitz Phone] Critical bug Telephoto lens motor freezing / not moving anymore Please report it officially

Hey everyone,

A critical bug has been confirmed on the Xiaomi 17 Ultra (Global) and the Leitz Phone Edition: the telephoto lens motor stops working, causing the lens to no longer move.

This results in the camera being unable to focus at zoom levels above 3.2x and in some cases, the camera app crashes entirely after clearing cache.

We got confirmation today that Xiaomi is aware of the issue and their team is investigating. The fix priority depends directly on the number of official reports they receive, so every report counts.

How to report (takes 2 minutes):

- Open the "Services & Feedback" app (pre-installed on your device)

- Describe the issue: telephoto lens not moving / camera unable to zoom above 3.2x

- Attach a screen recording or logs if you can reproduce it

The more of us report it through official channels, the faster it gets escalated and patched.

Don't just comment here please take the time to submit a report.

Thanks 🙏

Hello there!

It seems that CN has recently encountered a tele lens issue as well. Since the global version is based on a bug that originated in CN, it appears that CN is now facing the same challenge.

If you happen to experience this issue, it’s likely that a patch will be included in a future release.

Given that the global version takes some time to incorporate features and bug fixes from CN, it might be worth the wait. This is likely based on the initial release, which is 302 from CN.

Versions 304 and 306 have resolved the issue in China, so please wait for global variant.

Thank you so much for your understanding!
