We're moving out. I was excited to live in Media and send my kids to RTM schools, but the obnoxious loud minority opposed to any sort of new school has turned me off. RTM is "one of the few remaining school districts in the region that only offers a half-day [Kindergarten] option." We're moving to a school district that does have full-day.
Have any other dads been out in public just you and your kid (no mom), and a stranger just tells you that you're being a really great dad for basically just existing with your child?
I'm proud of us dads (in general) for working really hard to raise the bar on what a good dad can be. Isn't it funny how low it was to begin with?
I don't need help. I just wanted to share some interesting information. I just got a job offer, and I'm going through the pre-employment onboarding stuff. I just scheduled my drug test, and my employer is only requiring a "9 Panel" drug test that excludes THC.
I actually started working at this company as a contractor 6 months ago, and the staffing agency I was working through had me do a drug test that DID have a THC panel.
Perhaps things are changing with the schedule III designation, and some employers are just not wanting to deal with it anymore?
