Why does Travis not follow Taylor on instagram or any other social media platform?

I was looking at posts saying how Joe still follows her. And funnily Matty Healy too

Also, Tom Hiddleston follows her too for ages but I can see that as they were always amicable to each other.

So, I thought wait does Travis follows her? I checked and he doesn't. Now obviously social media does not mean much and Taylor follows no one. I know this was a talk at beginning of their relationship but at that time it seemed fine that he didn't follow her but now since they are married I would have assumed he does?

Ofc I get social media following is just shallow fluff at the end of the day but this seemed a bit odd - just what I noticed.

AIO for not responding to my friend dating life texts

For starters, she did not respond to mine either.

X and I have been friends for years, though we had our ups and downs, we did end up becoming close friends.

Now, few weeks ago I sent her a text with screenshot with the guy I was talking to and she did not respond at all until few days later when she wanted to hang out.

Now she is in a dilemma with a guy and sending me texts but tbh I don't want to respond, my other friend said I should not reply. I was a bit hurt when she didn't reply to me then as I am always there for her and reply very quickly when there is something dating dilemma cause I understand how anxious she gets and I am also anxious type so I really get her.

We are on holidays in different cities so we are not gonna see each for few weeks. Idk what to do, I asked other friend and she said I should respond. I have a very small circle of friends, so I am looking for more broader perspective or view of someone who is more objective.

I am also lowkey jealous, idk how she has someone so willing to be with her and she takes them for granted (I told her this earlier not to do this) and I can't find anyone. I just don't want my jealousy and recent hurt to make me a bad friend and on other hand, I also feel she is not there for me as much as I am and idk it is fair for me ugh idk

I have a quick call with the hiring manager I cold-texted on LinkedIn but I don't know how to have the chat. Any tips?

I found HM from job description and cold-texted them on LinkedIn after they accepted my connection request. They replied with agreeing to have a quick call but I am so so nervous.

If it was a traditional interview then I know what to do but this context feels so odd to me (I find these whole cold-calling, texting etc thing very unfamiliar) but I see folks online for whom it have worked.

I guess I can start with introduction, ask about team, what they are looking for and yeah idk what other than this.

I also did it a few other times and it always got so awkward cause after some time idk what to ask or chat about. I feel like I am selling my CV which, well, I am. Anyway, anyone has any tips or experience on how to take this? Especially how to end the call which might led to some call to action without being explicitly pushy? Ugh man I am so nervous though. I want this job.

Is moving to US from Europe worth it for Finance career?

I live in Western Europe (not London), have a career in Finance and thinking to move to NYC (or any financial hub) for further career progression in high finance.

I had these thoughts for a while now as high finance compensation and career progression in US is unmatched. Europe is great for social security but there is a career ceiling. Has anyone done it? How has been your experience?

I have degree in Finance and two internships and 1 year work experience in back office role in risk in corporate (tech/Healthcare industry).

I want to work in Banking/Financial Services industry. My main hurdle is I don't have relevant experience. I keep applying but nothing panned out so far. I have been applying for two years, I do not mind doing an internship to get the foot in the door except they only hire students.

2 years is a long time, I feel like I went from being most ambitious among my peers to literally unemployed. Should I just give up at this time? It is very hard for me to cause I don't think I have ever given up in my career aspirations before. I am also tired of applying, networking and just trying so much for so long. Is it time to call it quits? I don't even know what will I even do, that's all that I ever wanted or liked.
