Mario (with the help of Luigi) working together to battle against Dr. Eggman. Since Eggman has a plethora of mechs to use, I thought I make this a sort of gauntlet to see how far the bros will go.

Round 1: Egg Walker (Sonic Adventure 2) Round 2: Egg Viper (Sonic Adventure 1) Round 3: Egg Emperor (Sonic Heroes) Round 4: Egg Breaker (Shadow ‘05) Round 5: Egg Wyvern (Sonic ‘06) Round 6: Death Egg Robot (Sonic 2/Generations) Round 7: Egg Dragoon (Sonic Unleashed/Generations)

Mario & Luigi is just at their base, with their hammers in their disposal, and their physical bros attacks seen in Superstar Saga. I’ll also include their Firebrand/Thunderhand since that’s something they both can naturally do. No outside items.

Eggman is JUST using his mechs here, so no Chaos Emeralds, and no outside help like Metal Sonic or Sage.

I feel like the Chaos Emeralds are too much of a crutch for Sonic. Soon as he pumps those out, it’s an instant win button.

So for this battle, there are NO Chaos Emeralds for Sonic to use, or any outside help or wisp powers. Just his regular, basic self.

Same goes for Bowser. No Fury mode, no minions, none of Kamek’s magic bs, etc. Just himself.

A 1v1 duel. Who would kick whose ass using what they can already do themselves?

Ah, now it’s time for the two mysterious princesses to duke it out.

Imma be honest, I think Blaze might win this matchup. She’s pretty equal to Sonic, and has better hand-to-hand combat skills. Plus she has pyrokenesis, and has a super form (Burning Blaze).

Rosalina is….inconsistent. You got games like Mario Galaxy where she was seen as one of the strongest beings in the Mario Universe, where had the power to casually reset the universe to stop Bowser from taking over, and then you get the Mario Galaxy movie where she kinda got stomped by Bowser Jr and his crew, although he did destroy the Giant Megaleg all by herself, which was cool.

But what do you guys think?

Alright, the two “Player 2’s” to the main heroes duke it out.

I’mma be real with this one, but Luigi definitely WHOOPS Tails. I’m sorry, Tails, I love you and everything and you may have the IQ advantage and is great with gadgets, but your performance and feats as of late have been extremely lackluster, barely putting up a fight at all against anyone past the Adventure days where you fought Chaos 4 and the Egg Walker all by yourself. Now he’s been kind of a coward/Sonic cheerleader as of late, barely scaling to base Sonic.

Luigi on the other hand….has been putting in WORK. Him fighting alongside Mario in the Mario & Luigi games, feeling like true equals and being a formidable duo. Especially those Dreamy Luigi fights, my GOD he truly shined there. He may be cowardly, but when push comes to shove, bro can fck sit up with his trusty hammer, Thunderbrand, and a little dash of Luigi Logic.

What do you guys think?

On one hand, Shadow would realistic win this matchup because….well…..he’s the “Ultimate Life Form” after all, he’s got doom powers and his inhibitors, but Wario has some ridiculous feats of his own, and tricks up his sleeve that makes him downright IMPOSSIBLE to kill, such as having hazards that would normally kill him (like being lit on fire or electrocuted) work in his advantage. He sponges every hit he takes.

What do you guys think? Think it could go either way?

This is a character I created during my second year college semester, who is meant to be an antagonist to my other OC character, Avian The Fairy. He too, I plan to have him be a video game character someday day.

Example: Link's Shield Special could have him perform a shield bash with his Hylian Shield to knock opponents away and reflect projectiles, like he could in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Could be done by simply pressing B while idly shielding.

As we all know, Ridley in Smash feels.....pretty underwhelming if you ask me. A lot of crippling weaknesses, such as being surprisingly light despite having the largest hurtbox in the game, moves that don't provide enough coverage despite his size, having a linear recovery despite literally being a space dragon, feeling really slow and heavy in the air, only having 3 jumps, having a pretty middling air game which doesn't really make sense, having the worst down air and Down Special in the game, and having some of the most lackluster looking and functioning throws in the game (seriously, how does he not have a kill throw?), and having moves that look downright awful and out of character on his kit (up smash, forward air and back air to be exact).

So to you guys here, how would you buff Ridley? What changes would you give him to redesign this vicious, purple space dragon? Keeping what works and fixing what doesn't work on him?
