Drying my towel after washing

Got my towels today and prepping for my first wash. Managed to wash and dry all small towels and mitts but my drying towel is soaked even after an extra cycle after washing and it's taking absolutely ages to dry. Even on the lowest temp I open the tumble dryer and there's steam coming off the towel due to the water it's retained.

How on earth do I dry this thing (can't do it indoors)

Steering issue

Picked up my M340i with only 4900 miles last couple weeks ago and a week ago noticed the alignment of the wheel is off centre. I've had 2 wheel alignments done but the problem still persists. I've had someone look at the suspension and arms of the car and no damage is there which is expected considering how new the vehicle is.

Anyone else had this, know what's going on and how to fix?

Picture shows what the wheel is like when the car goes straight

M340i Steering

So I picked up an M340i with 4900 miles on it and I've drove it around 800 miles so far and have recently noticed that when I put the steering wheel deal centre, the car tends to go slightly right as opposed to dead straight.

I've had 2 wheel alignments where I actually stood there and saw them do it on the second go and when I leave the shop it's fine but the second day it then starts doing the same thing.

I see a lot of people having this issue online from quick checks but is this something that's normal and designed this way?

Just to confirm, when I take my hands off the wheel the car will won't pull in any direction and will go straight but the steering wheel isn't dead straight and is off centre

Surely this isn't right?

Wanted to get into detailing my own car so made a huge In2Detailing order which included the SGS35 and the MTM PF22.3

Both items came without their original box which means that for the foam cannon, I am missing the additional 1.1 orifice, weighted ball filter and I believe the additional cap that goes on if I have left over solution.

This makes me worried about what else I'm missing for the SGS35...

Has anyone had this experience? For the money we pay I expect to at least get all the contents that comes inside the box even if they don't include it

Beginner - Foam Cannon Setting

So this upcoming weekend I will be doing my first wash of a new car I just bought.

I have purchased Bilt Hamber Touchless as my pre wash product and will work out the PIR when my package arrives. However, when working this PIR do I set the top of the foam cannon to '+' and if so would I also keep it there during the actual wash?

I also plan to half the amount of product needed when working out my PIR as I will only be utilising 500ml in my cannon to avoid any product waste as I don't think I'll need the whole litre for 1 car and wouldn't want to pour out any leftover product - I'm assuming this is ok

I'm guessing this is going to be a problem?

The grit guard doesn't fully fit at the bottom of the bucket which I'm assuming means it won't keep everything at the bottom?

Any suggestions on buckets and grit guards that won't break the bank

Potential Steering Issue

Picked up a relatively new M340i with 4900 miles last week. Noticed yesterday that the steering was off and if I had my steering wheel straight it would pull to the left. Had a wheel alignment done and all 4 wheels were off. When I drove away, the problem seems to be fixed but this morning when I was driving again, the same started to happen but the car was now pulling to the right.

I've also noticed that the difference in feel between normal steering mode and sports steering mode is non existent.

What else could the issue be?

Help Me Understand Sport individual

So I picked up a M340i and coded in for it to automatically start up with sport individual. Now I just need some help understanding what the 'Engine' option does if I put it in sport or sport+.

From my understanding it only makes the throttle more responsive which by the look of things, has little to no effect on fuel economy compared to comfort as the revs are still the same.

Am I right in saying this or well off?

About to Purchase All This - Advice Required

I have just picked up a new car and don't fancy taking it to the scratch and shine hand car washes so have decided to start detailing my car at home.

I have done some research and come up with a list of things I have in my basket which I will put down below. I would greatly appreciate you guys looking over what I have to make sure I am well equipped to start doing this and if I'm not, give suggestions on what else I can pick up if it's absolutely necessary.

Can someone also let me know if I need to purchase any conversion kits to make my Karcher hose quick connect.

Equipment:

- Karcher K4 Pressure Washer

- In2Detailing Deluxe v2 Swivel Stubby Gun

- MJJC Foam Lance Pro v2

Exterior:

- Bilt Hamber Touchless

- Garage Therapy Car Shampoo

- 2 Buckets with Grit Guards

- 2 Microfibre Wash Mitts

- Rag Company Gauntlet Drying Towel (Paying a premium for this due to stock issues so any other cheaper alternatives that perform the same would be appreciated)

Wheels:

- Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel

- Garage Therapy Tyre Serum

- In2Detailing Tyre Brush

- 2 Microfiber Wheel Wash Mitts

- 1 Bucket With Grit Guard

- Rag Company Gauntlet Wheel Drying Towel

Interior/Glass:

- NEED SUGGESTIONS FOR INTERIOR CLEANER (I own a BMW M340i so anything that can clean the majority of that)

- Maguiars Glass Cleaner (Already had at home)

- In2Detailing Hybrid Waffle Glass Towel

I believe that's everything I have added to my basket so far and I believe it's all I need but would like someone with experience to just double check it all and give any further suggestions.

Help With Pressure Washer Upgrades

I will be purchasing a Karcher K4 as I found a good deal on a new one for around £140.

I have heard that there are some things on this pressure washer that could be upgraded for a smoother experience so I was wondering if someone could link me (ideally Amazon) to the following:

- Replacement for the big gun. I would like a smaller one.

- Replacement hose - ideally something reasonably priced and not crazy expensive as I know these things can be pricey.

- A kit to change all the connections to quick connections.

- A good snow foam cannon

Oil and Fuel - UK

Picking up my M340i tomorrow and I will be looking to service the car every £6000 miles. What is the best oil for the car? I am based in the UK so would want something we can get here.

For those of you in the UK, what fuel do you use? Is it worth only using 99 octane or would E10 be fine?

I am picking up a new car this week which I want to start washing myself as I'm sick of these scratch and shine handwash places adding scratches everytime I was my car.

I would love it if someone broke down exactly everything I would need to get started. I am looking at a Karcher K4 and would definitely like to replace the lance for a shorter one if someone could recommend one of those also.

I don't want to spend crazy money if possible but at the same time I want to make sure I have everything I need.
