What is going on with the Tom Segura Controversy?

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/1TBtuuaR9qc

So, I dont watch these two very much but I can kinda recall seeing episodes of them a few months ago and they seemed happy, got fantastic chemistry, and just had some new kids.

Now the narrative seems to be

- Tom Segura got a big break
- Tom lost weight
- He now thinks he's better than his partner
- He now thinks he is a big shot and will show up with a 22 year old soon
- He kinda nuked his legacy, house, family, the podcast
- His (Ex) wife wanted to make it work, was fine, and is just thrown aside

(Giving extra credit to Bobby Lee and Khal, for making it work regardless so smoothly)

What did I miss, how, why is that true?

Do you guys believe we'll see a lot of the same teams for a while?

This might be a bit of a spicy topic, but I've been thinking

I hope we don't really get team fatigue, or see the same teams in this game initially.

  • Considering the game is 4vs4, and we have 20 characters, combinations are less
  • There isn't a 100% incentive to swap from your main or second character to 3rd/4th
  • There is no snapback mechanic, so there is a chance people will all use slot 3 or 4 for ''top 3 assists'' example: everyone having Iron Man in 1 slot if the beam is S Tier, despite being bad at them
  • 4 DLC Characters per year
  • Within the 20 characters, there will still always be 5 most used/easiest/popular ones

Could also potentially work in its favour; people will have different captain characters despite the assists being the same

What we thinking?

From Crypto early 10s, to Ai in early 20s, now

I was a Crypto boy in early 2015-2016, and caught it quite well .. The run before it became a total s-show of rug devs and pump-funs was amazing. Became quite wealthy.. lost it all unfortunately..

My friends in the meantime 2020+ started investing in some AI stock, went slow, didn't do much, they stayed ''poor''... until now.. AI Stocks remind me of what Crypto was back in the days. You can put some money in weekly, and just sleep (not even talking alts, Im talking micro-alts)

However, I feel like I missed the AI boom and the investing opportunity as many of these companies already x10'd, especially for much larger gains. And I wrong about this?

What would you advice a guy like me who has the experience but who has to start over to do, I didnt follow my friends in 2021, but also Crypto isn't as fun and reliable as it used to be

Do I watch Squid Game Or Kaiji - Ultimate Survivor first? (Gyakkyo Burai)

I am actually torn.

Just finished a rewatch of Death Note and decided to check this Kaiji one out, people kept relating it to. First episode.. I smell a familiar theme; this sounds like Squid Games.. A quick google, and apparently they are indeed incredibly similar, and Squid Game indeed took a lot from Kaiji

Now, I have not watched either of the two - but I feel like if I continue Kaiji now, I'll completely ruin Squid Game, and if I watch Squid Game, I'll kinda taint/or compare Kaiji.

Anyone who watched both, what would you suggest? Squid Game does seem like the faster/more binged mainstream one

(Posted this on Netflix too, but no replies, I expect yall to be a bit more biased but stillxD)

This Feels Great (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

Sometimes you just have that ''flow'' where everything you do is creative, a read, a hard-read, sick, and this was one of those sets

(Just one time I'd like it to be ''GG'' instead of flaming though. He stays in D3 but I believe he's master/high m)
