I was short on TC-W3 oil; and ended up adding a couple ounces of snowmobile rated oil , say like 60/40 blend. This gonna hurt anything?

Is it feasible to run new metal duct inside a flex return?

There's flex that runs in a false wall from my basement all the way to my second floor for a return, I'd like to try and improve that flow as much as possible. I was half considering trying to feed new rigid pipe up inside the flex, it's basically a straight line up. Making holes in the walls is not an option

Or is this a fools errand and a waste of time?

I at least want to take the flex bends out right next to my air handler, that'll be real easy though

Can I use a modern thru-hub style prop to replace this? I'm having a hell of a time finding a spare

How many and how to arrange 2x4 fluorescent lights on garage ceiling?

I've got a 2 car garage, about 20ft wide with a single light bulb in the center. I setup a workshop area in the one corner, call it 10x12.

I hate working in my own shadow, so I picked up some 2x4 fluorescent fixtures from marketplace.

Is there a way to figure out how many and how to position them? The biggest thing I want is some light on the workbench when I'm working.

I was thinking doing 2 perpendicular to the wall over the 2 benches, spaced out a couple feet, or do 3 parallel with the wall and only one over the benches, one in place of the single bulb, and one over the other side of the garage where my wife's car usually is. That I think would look the most intentional, even if I don't "need" the light on that side

Apologies for the mess, my wife took over with her planting projects for a bit
