I’ve been painting my Dark Angel Interrogator Chaplin, and I’m particularly happy with how the cape and hood have turned out.

However, I’m struggling to figure out how to paint the pattern at the edge of the hood. The detail on the hood isn’t engraved very well, making it difficult to paint.

Should I add white edge highlights to the hood or take the time to paint the pattern correctly?
