Here’s my take on a partially mutated Simon after being rescued from the blood ocean! I took heavy inspiration from the film, but I thought it would be cool to give him a tail since he was transforming into an aquatic (bloodatic?) creature like Ellie.
I’m having a lot of fun voice acting! My dog ran over to make sure I was ok when I was recording Graces scream 😂
Yes, the ‘amazing’ voice acting is me :3 My parents aren’t home so I tried it out. I used some background music from the movie that I found on YouTube. This video was a pain to edit, but I love how it turned out!

Simon finds a convenient portal to the hm because why not. I really have no idea how to combine these universes in a convincing way, so I just did that.

I finally got around to watching the movie and I’m obsessed! I immediately sketched out a ton of nonsense, including an AU where Simon and Ellie live, well… not exactly happily ever after. I made Simon’s eel look kinda like the OG monster, and he’s much smaller since he’s just one guy, not a bunch of people fused together. Welp, hope you like it!
Chuuya can dream in my fic, and sometimes they get pretty wild… his tail started wagging, which woke Dazai up. Bet he can’t guess what Chuuya’s dreaming about!

I love how this turned out, especially 15 skk! I’m forever mad at bones for not making them look their age! I was like Dazai when I was their age. I was a literal twig that was growing way too fast, and so flat I had trouble finding pants that wouldn’t fall off my nonexistent ass. Adult skk is definitely a glow up, since Dazai’s finally eating and sleeping better, and they’re both done with puberty. Chuuya is a total muscle mama and masc lesbian, and Dazai is a bratty bisexual! She’s still flat as a board tho, just like me!

I really like how this turned out with the alcohol markers. I’m excited to introduce the characters into my story! I’ll provide a brief explanation for each of their species.
Fukuzawa is an ancient elf. Most of his people fled when humans came to settle his lands, but he was too stubborn to leave. He’s founded the ADA.
Ranpo is a human with a special gift. He can see through magical illusions. That combined with the power of autism and his deduction skills makes him the best at finding magical creatures living among the humans.
Kunikida is a Knolle, a fantasy race I created. They have skin the color of stone, and coarse hair that resembles grass. They live for hundreds of years, and are obsessed with order and gathering knowledge. They store their records in underground vaults beneath small hills, or knolls. That’s where their name originated.
Kenji is a Tavros, another original species of mine. He was blessed by nature gods as a child, and given great strength to help him bring about good. I haven’t decided exactly why he was blessed yet, but he did something kind and generous.
Junichiro is a changeling. I was inspired by how octopus change color and even the texture of their skin, so I gave him an aquatic appearance. He can alter his own body most easily, but he also has a magical ability to create illusions.
Naomi is a fairy. She’s got the wings and coloration of a Japanese Oakblue butterfly. She’s pretty tiny, and likes to sit on her brothers shoulder. No one knows why the Tanizaki’s insist they are siblings despite the species difference.
Yosano is a witch. She’s mostly human, but has some mixed blood in her past, granting her exceptional magical abilities. Her specialty is healing mortal wounds.
Atsushi is a weretiger. He’s basically the same as in the canon story, and can turn into a white tiger.
