which book to follow?

Like sindh board students have read their books already so they have time to go through ptb and ftb.

We dont have time so tell me should i read stb or mentr masterbooks which are basically a compilation of all the provinces but I heard that now they dont give questions from other boards so reading masterbooks will be a waste of time.

Or should i have a different approach for each subject as my physics tchr suggested to read ptb only for phy.

So I am very confused.
