How to make 2 pedals use the same set of knobs.

For a project of mine I wanted know how to combine two pedals into one enclosure, and then have a switch to change between which effect is active and influenced by the potentiometers when the pedal is on. I know the JHS packrat does something similar but I believe that pedal changes out individual resistors where as I want to change which entire circuit is powered and connected to a universal set of potentiometers. I would ideally like everything to be analog because I have a very limited understanding of microcontrollers. Thanks.

The Pros and Cons of Devon Achane

Do you think Devon Achane will be a viable RB1 this season given the big changes to Miami's offense. I am leaning towards staying away from him unless he were to somehow fall to the third round, but wanted to get another perspective. He seems to be a pretty serious boom or bust prospect with a really high upside and really low floor. I am however slightly biased against him because he scored 30+ points against me last fantasy playoffs.

Pros:

  • Little backfield competition
  • Willis should be an upgrade from Tua if he passes to Achane
  • Run game will be a foucus of the offense due to weak wr core
  • improved oline from last year
  • Achane was around RB5 at the end of last season in PPR
  • Potentially huge workload "Hafley promised a heavy workload for De'Von Achane during an interview Monday with 'The Rich Eisen Show,' saying that the star running back could have games where he touches the ball more than 40 times." SOURCE: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/49582399/jeff-hafley-devon-achane-workload-better-good-shape

Cons:

  • Opposing teams will likely stack the box
  • Malik Willis might try and be a mobile qb to prove himself and take away carries
  • Decent division defenses (Bills, Patriots)
  • 5'9 190lbs is a small frame*
  • bad teams statistically score more in the 4th quarter (garbage time) and Achane might be taken out of the game by then, (small back with big new contract) casuing him to lose out on TD points*

* New HC Jeff Hafley seems to intend to use him all game as the above article claims, might be Hafley trying to sound tough

Can anyone ID these pickups?

Found these pickups in a used Epiphone Les Paul Special II that I bought off a yard sale and was wondering if anyone could identify them. I have another of the same guitar and these pickups have different poles / sound different then my other Special II and all of the photos that I have seen online. There's no markings other than a B for bridge on the bottom, but I don't think someone would go through the hassle of installing cheap Chinese pickups instead of the stock ones which sound pretty nice. Thanks.

Onboard Effect Suggestions

Does anyone have any reccomendations for onboard guitar effects / diy kits. I want one ideally with a single push pull pot (I have an empty slot in strat pickguard with master tone and volume), and was hoping to find either a compressor/sustainer or some kind of distortion for around 30-40 dollars. I checked out GFS's mod boards and I like what they have but was wondering if anyone knew of anything slightly cheaper. Thanks.

Alternate use for 5 way strat switch?

I am building my own HSS guitar with a strat pickguard and am going to use 3 individual on/off switches for each pickup with the humbucker being an on/off/on for splitting it like in the schematic linked below. However, this leaves the old 5 way switch useless and I don't want to just leave the hole in my pickguard. Are there any mods that I can do to add a use to the switch, or are thee any pedals that I can build into my guitar that would utalize the switch, as this wiring also leaves me with an extra unused knob. I was thinking I might add a bazz fuzz like circuit with selectable diodes but I am not experienced enough to wire that without a diagram. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

How to replace 5 way switch with 3 individual toggles.

I a building a HSS guitar and instead of having a 5 way selector switch like in most strats, I would like to have 3 switches to have any combination of the 3 pickups active. Does anyone know where I can find a good wiring diagram for this, or better yet a tutorial as I am relatively new to circutry. I was intending to just have one master tone and volume each for simplicity. Better yet, If there was one where I could have a on/off/on switch for just the humbucker to control coil splitting that would be awesome. Thanks!

Cheapest way to get a neck?

Hi, I am unfortunately on a really tight budget and was wondering what the best resources would be on finding a neck to use for the guitar I am building. I was hoping to get one from a name brand like fender, ibanez, yamaha, etc. or one equivalent in quality to a squier strat, dont mind if it is second hand. I have checked ebay and facebook but have had trouble getting one with tuners for around 20 dollars pre shipping, which is my limit. I'm going to make the body myself but am not experienced enough to correctly make the neck, and would appreciate any suggestions for good places to buy. Thanks.

I'm trying to develop 67 overall Kenny Pickett into a decent player through a year of simming. 67 overall is a little hard for me to play manually, so ive ben trying to get him up to around a 79-80 overall. I know its not ideal because he is 27 years old and has normal dev but I wanted to try something. So far I have been tried putting him on teams with good wrs, using the bengals offensive playbook, and I've maxed out camp counsler and qb xp boosters but the most I've gotten him to is 71 overall. Im good with converting him to a pure pocket passer type, as I dont scramble much anyways, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
