I recently picked up another chore jacket and some more fatigue pants through Vinted.

The chore jacket is from a French brand called Cepovett. It's 100% cotton twill and approx 10oz material (320gsm). From what I can see online this chore jacket is about 10-15 years old. They still make them today so can still be bought brand new. I already have a few chore jackets but really liked the colour of this so for £15 took a punt. I was surprised by how cropped a fit it is. It's a little more fitted than I expected so will probably only be used with light layers (in the picture I have a heavyweight t-shirt and a thin sweatshirt underneath the jacket).

The fatigue pants are Ralph Lauren. This is the 4th pair of RL fatigue pants I've bought and I really like the fact they release a range of different styles and cuts. I've got herringbone twill 107 style, HBT modified monkey pant style and two cotton sateen 107 pairs - one wide leg all down and the ones I've just picked up in this photo which are wide leg but tapered. Two of the pairs I picked up from TKMaxx and so were new, two of the pairs (including these) came from Vinted. In total I've spent just under £175 on the four pairs so they're pretty good value.

Just thought these were worth flagging as there are regularly posts looking for fatigues and chore coats and these might be some other options to consider.

I recently changed my job so due to that, combined with getting a discount code emailed, I decided to treat myself to this Type 2 jacket which I'd been looking at for ages.

Also a shout out for these Adidas Superstar 2 sneakers. Really nice, thick textured leather. Might be a good option for anyone who wants sneakers but likes boots and doesn't want to pay the prices some of the heritage sneakers cost.

Had to go to the office today so it was a good excuse to break out a chore coat now Autumn is here.

Love the leather on these and they were on a really good offer so I couldn't resist.

One thing I did notice though was that I usually wear my Adidas TTS but had to size up by half a size in these.

It's been too hot to wear this chambray chore jacket as an over layer and I saw someone on Instagram wearing a chore jacket as a shirt so figured it'd give me an opportunity to wear it more if I did the same.

Belgian brush stroke (Belgian balls) camo is one of my favourite patterns. I'm not entirely convinced it and the shirt go but also don't hate it so 🤷🏻

The Vans slipons definitely don't really go but in my defence I'd just been to post a parcel and they were the nearest thing to the door.

Picked up these BNWT Old Navy pinstripe fatigue pants from Vinted (we don't have old Navy in the UK) and really like them. Loose fit but not baggy and 100% cotton.

For anyone in the US they were $16 dollars when I looked on the Old Navy website a couple of weeks ago for more info on them so a bargain for anyone after some cheap denim fatigue pants.

(Please excuse the state of my linen shirt - I'd driven for 5 hours and been in a 7 hour meeting today so it was very crumpled).

I've been trying to move away from wearing a smart watch all the time and make more use of some of the 'real' watches I have.

I picked the Seiko SNK809 up in 2017 and it used to be my daily watch. I've always really liked it so decided it could be one of the first back into my rotation. It was on a NATO strap but that had seen better days so I decided to look for something else. I stumbled across some denim and leather straps that fit so thought I'd give one a try. Intrigued to see if it fades! 😂

Anyone else have a trusty old Seiko 5 that they still wear?

Well, The Odyssey to be precise (good, but looong and even then, lots of bits of the story that seem to be missed/skipped over).

It was slightly less oppressively hot today so I took the opportunity to get some jeans back in the rotation and give my first wear out to the Trickers loafers I picked up recently.

Shirt: RL patchwork.

Jeans: Levi's 501 selvedge.

Shoes: Trickers Chicago loafers.

Watch: Trusty old Seiko 5 automatic.

A few months ago I was in a Champion outlet and saw that they did some heritage and workwear pieces including fatigue pants, double knees, letterman cardigan's and chore coats which I hadn't realised before.

Fast forward a few months and I saw one of the chore coats BNWT for a really good price on Vinted and it was (in theory) in my size so I grabbed it.

It's a really nice chore jacket. I really like the fabric, it's triple stitched and reinforced where you'd hope it would be but it's very generous with the sizing (and super long in the arms!) I think it's too big which is why I'm posting here to see what others thought.

I'm not sure whether to keep it and just wear it as somewhat oversized, sell it back on or try a hot wash to see if I can shrink it. Any thoughts on those options would be appreciated.

I've also added a few pics of the other chore coats I've got as a comparison to how I'm used to a chore jacket fitting.

Bit of a scenic fit today. It's sunny but also very windy so a bit chilly.

Shorts are Levi's pleated shorts.

T-shirt is a Heath Yokohama loopwheel. (Don't see them mentioned very often but they're an always visit for me when I'm in Tokyo).

Jacket is a new pick up - RL Lee Rider style in a dark camouflage which I really like. Not as in your face as some camo can be, but also more interesting than just, say, black.

Sneakers are an Etnies / Independent collab (which I know are not heritage but are my heritage from skating).

I'd been wearing these for the indigo invitational but not for the last couple of months due to the temperature where I am. I wore them during the last week though while I've been fitting out a shed. The texture of the denim is amazing and the fades are really starting to pop now.

I've been trying to make my summer shorts fits a little more intentional rather than just grabbing any t-shirt and any pair of shorts especially as many of my shorts and t-shirts were old, ill fitting and often made from synthetic materials which I've been trying to phase out of my wardrobe.

Any constructive suggestions for improvements welcomed.

I ordered a couple of Jamaica Jaxx shirts from Vinted on @garage_artists recommendation.

They arrived and they're really nice 100% silk shirts for the money. This one is off white with a white pattern so quite subtle.

Only heads-up for anyone in the UK or Europe looking at them - their sizing is very generous compared to UK and European norms. The shirt in the picture is a medium and based on that I could have comfortably had a small (I'm 6' and about 80kg for info).

I've replaced most of my summer shorts and shirts this year as the ones I had were old, didn't fit particularly well anymore, and often had synthetic content which I'm not a fan of. I've mostly bought used, mainly from Vinted.

I've become a fan of fatigue style shorts - the patch pockets seem to allow for a lighter construction which is great for the summer heat.

I saw these Lee shorts on Vinted and liked the fatigue/cargo combo which I hadn't seen before so ordered them. They're really nice shorts - if you find yourself after some fatigue type shorts in 100% cotton that are a decent length, and can be picked up pretty cheaply, they're well worth a try.

Polo is an indigo dyed RL polo that I got last year and is starting to fade nicely.
