Anyone ever stop wearing the same stuff from high school?

It's been 30+ years since graduating and my closet is still filled with just t-shirts and jeans. My fashion sense has never grown up, I guess. But I also have never felt the need to. I own only 1 suit and it's for funerals... And it's honestly too big and should be donated. My job has a uniform (mail carrier) but outside of that it's just the same stuff I wore as a kid. Honestly there are still one or two shirts that are 30+ years old in there that my wife cannot convince me to throw away lol.

And while I'm asking, when did cargo shorts become a bad thing to wear? I'm getting made fun of for those but I can't abandon them. The utility of pockets is too much of a valuable resource to me.

Took an old workbench apart...

... Before I had a plan on what to do next. I have a set of 4 inch casters that I'm going to use on a new bench. I know I have a 5x3 space to work with... But after I got it all apart and in a pile and caused many spiders to be homeless, my brain just got stuck. I probably just need to walk away from this for a bit and maybe have a Snickers. Does this happen to anyone else here? I start off head strong and dive into a project and run out of steam... Then forget how to do anything. I know I'll shake this off and end up with something eventually. I honestly think I work better without a solid plan anyway... All the crooked walls in my house made me have to adjust stuff on the fly all the time. My rant is over. Have a great weekend everyone!

Edit: forgot to actually upload the pictures the first time I posted this.

What to do with this x-arcade stick.

I bought this ages ago and made a sad mame cabinet at the time. A year after that, I tore it apart and never used this again. I have no idea if this thing is even desirable to folks in this community or how much is a fair price. I can't imagine how much shipping would cost. This beast is heavy.

Edit: lol just doing a quick estimate for shipping this monster based on packaging sizes and weight listed on x-arcade website and it's like $90+ to ship!? Crazy times...

Who is coming to the comic con this weekend?

My wife got a table to sell her dice at 3 Rivers Comic Con this year. Curious if we should expect a decent turn out considering all of the other stuff going on. I will never understand why the organizers of the con schedule it during the arts festival AND the pride parade. Maybe they're hoping for an overlap with that crowd...which is possible... But who can afford to do all the things at once anymore?

Ready for the convention

A followup from a previous post where I was looking for advice for chonk displays. Lots of folks advised on height and motion. We did as much of that as we could. I made a helix display on the front right of the table out of cedar and 3d printed supports. I made another display behind it that is on a turntable. And the hex displays in the center are all tiered up toward the back of the table. I hope this draws some attention. Wish us luck this weekend!
