Need some help
Does anyone know the name for this particular style of brass compression ring? They came on a grease manifold for a Tecno Panamac rotary cut off machine.

I like the idea of an upper that doesn't use a buffer tube.
I've been looking around and I think it would be neat to mess with an upper that will fit on an AR lower without a buffer tube. I've seen the BRN-180 uppers, the Faxon ARAK uppers and the CMMG Dissent uppers. I would prefer something with a shorter barrel, i.e. 11-13". This would mostly be ran suppressed. Are there any I'm missing? Does anyone have experience with something like this? Thanks

Help with ARMS rail info.
I saw a Del-Ton 6.8spc rifle in a pawn shop. It has a look alike ARMS rail like the one on the M4 from OG MW2. The front was polymer. I thought they were all aluminum. The bottom of the rail had "SOYI" on it. Was it a fake rail? They wanted $400 for the rifle.
