YAY!!!!

Serious question: How is everyone affording rent these days?

Let's be honest, many jobs in Lexington just don't seem to pay enough. A lot of hourly positions are in the teens to mid-$20s, and many salaried jobs (unless you're in management or a higher-level role) seem to fall somewhere around $35k–$65k a year.

Meanwhile, rent, car payments, insurance, and just about everything else have skyrocketed. Apartments that rented for around $1,000 before COVID now seem to be closer to $2,000. I've been researching apartments all over the area, and it feels like the only places around $1,000 are real shitholes.

So what's the secret? Seriously.

Are people living with roommates? Getting help from family? Making six figures? Working two jobs? Living paycheck to paycheck?

I genuinely want to understand how people are making it work because, despite working full-time, I feel like I'm missing something. I'm paid weekly and cannot make ends meet because of rent and car payment, and I used to live VERY COMFORTABLY just a few years ago.

I'm doing the album and have 200+ duplicates. If anyone wants to do a duplicate exchange let me know we can meet up in a public place.

Any idea when this construction will end ? I commute to work and there are no shortcuts or alternative routes so this torture of sitting an hour in traffic every single day is taking a toll on me. Made going to work a living hell. It’s going to be two years (or more ) now. Sitting here now waiting 30 minutes to drive 5 miles .

is there a way to pay in installments? asking because I need to pay by June 30 just in case I can't come up with the amount. thanks

where in Lexington can i find it?

who else thinks this is happening? always when he "looks back" multiple times during a race or when he's riding a chalk or 1/9, he always manages to "lose". pretty telling to me. so hush hush no one mentions anything and this is going on without any consequences. don't want to accuse but it's pretty obvious lol
