Anyone else having RCS Issues currently?

Woke up this morning to every message showing "texting with ______" and my group chats showing a "not available" warning. Checked my RCS, and it's stuck on "connecting" with error 3000, which is a backend error I guess? Just wanting to check and see if this is an isolated issue on my end, or a Bell issue before I look more into it.

Is there a way to change the Auto mode for Day Mode/Night Mode other than illumination detection?

I've got an Android 10.1" Headunit in my JDM Honda, and replaced a built in navigation system with it. Ripped out about 10lbs of wire and hardware and replaced it with this, and it's been working like a dream ever since, EXCEPT for the fact that the illumination wire is not connected, so I have to manually switch from day mode to night mode in the Android Auto settings in my phone.

Is there a way to automatically trigger this by say time, or sunset/sunrise via the Google weather app?

How do I change the main screen setup? (Hidden selection buttons)

update opting into the beta OS program fixed the issue.

The selection buttons for allow and deny are hidden behind my lower 3 action bar on my screen, and even sometimes the "X" to close a window is hidden behind the top taskbar and pressing these is impossible.

Is there a way to realign the window to fit smaller onto the screen so I won't come into these issues?

"No Blockage Found"

December 2021, I (now 37 M) found out I had a DVT in my left leg. A lot of people blamed the Covid shot, but I blamed my genetics. Blood Clots actually run on both sides of my family. (Probably because nobody runs in my family) I was prescribed Xarelto, and told to take it easy, and slowly integrate some more exercise in my life. (I work autoparts retail, so my sitting/walking is about 50/50 throughout the day)

After a follow-up in 2023, the clot had not gotten any better. In fact, it had gotten worse. They noticed a smaller clot had wedged itself just before the original clot.

In 2024, things changed a bit. I stepped down from managing the NFP Car Club I had created a decade prior, some medication dosages were changed for better maintenance of my Gout, and I noticed by the end of the year, I was starting to feel less pain in my left leg. I scheduled an appointment with my doctor, and after another ultrasound, the clot was still noted, but seemed to be improving.

This next part is not medical advice, and I am not a doctor. What worked for me, may not work for you. I am just sharing my experience.

In mid to late 2025, I made another appointment with my doctor, after noticing almost no pain in my left leg like I had been experiencing, especially after long days on my feet. My doctor, always one to try an experimental route if the research shows probability, offered up an interesting solution. We stayed with the current dosage of Xarelto (30mg/day) but he also prescribed me a low level dosage of tadalafil (yep, boner meds) to take once every other day, and recommended I take advantage of my work benefits coverage, and start going in for a massage once every couple months.

The first massage, brought back a lot of pain. A lot of bruising, which I never had before. The second appointment, not so much. But my last appointment, nothing outside of the normal "after massage tenderness", as I call it.

We scheduled another ultrasound, and after checking my vein, monitoring blood flow, and consulting my old records, it appears that my blood clot has finally cleared, and I honestly couldn't be happier.

Again, I am not a doctor, this is not medical advice, this is just the reasoning I was given, and why it may have worked for me.

Obviously Xarelto is an anticoagulant & helps prevent and breaks down blood clots. But Tadalafil enlarges/relaxes the blood vessels & veins, and combined with the deep tissue massages, has the ability to potentially breakdown the clot differently and more physically than just relying on the medication and blood flow to force it's breakdown. (And, even though I never really had a problem before, the wife enjoyed one of the side effects of the combo of medication, lol)

I have another followup in a couple of weeks with my doctor, he's going to keep me on the Xarelto for now but a lower dosage, and he's taken me off the tadalafil, and is still recommending regular massages, and then in 6 months, I go in for another ultrasound, and then at that point, we're apparently going to look at stopping the Xarelto entirely, assuming the ultrasound comes back good.

*Edit - added a better definition of what Xarelto does. More information is available on their website.

Black screen on screenshot?

I have a fuel app on my phone that tells me prices at my local card lock, but whenever I go to screenshot it to send to my wife, it blanks out, totally black screen.

I can screenshot the main screen of the app, the location of the business, but as soon as I try to screen cap the prices, it just captures a black screen.

I would assume this is a privacy measure of some sort, but iPhone users using the same service & iPhone version of the app aren't affected, and even other models of android seem to be unaffected. My co-worker has the same setup with a different account, and she can screen cap on her galaxy s24, but my on my pixel 8, no dice.

Any ideas?

Is this a sign of greater things to come?

Ya, I know the pricing doesn't line up, but I'm thinking long term here. Might shake up the market.

I have less than 0 information on it. It was abandoned by a neighbor at a warehouse I rent, and offered to me for free.

Motor turns, but it appears the clutch is dicked. A buddy of mine has a couple parts, and he's gonna take a better look at it, and see what it all needs.
