Near Mos Algo

I actually went a few weeks back and was pleasantly surprised by this small mom and pop burger shop right next to the Kite Shop.

I was even more surprised that when I tried to Google it that it's not even listed!

Now, there are plenty of good burgers all over the city, but Burger Shop had a taste that took me back home to the states. Tasted just like a burger from a mom and pop burger joint back home.

-Burger was juicy, but not greasy on a fluffy bun.

-Melty sharp cheddar

-Lettuce and veggies was crisp and fresh.

-Chips had a golden crunch and perfectly salted.

-And it might seem small, but not getting charged extra for a tiny cup of sauce goes a long way.

A simple burger perhaps, but simply executed perfectly.

Along with the great food was the friendly vibe:

Pop's behind the grill, Mom took our order and spun a yarn with us while we waited, and kiddo was outside giving a friendly wave to passers by.

I don't always find my way to that side of K road, but I was glad to come across this hidden gem!

Crispy-ass bacon, creamy brie, and tangy cranberry sauce on a crunchy toasted baguette. I've always gotten good breakfast sandwiches at Remedy, this is just one if them.
