Peeled the protective film off my new AORUS FO32U2 and need advice

I just bought the Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2 and when I peeled the film off, I noticed these weird, cloudy smudges/marks at the bottom of the screen.
I think it’s adhesive residue left over from the factory transport film reacting with the screen, but I’m not 100% sure. If I’m right, how to clean it? Or it’s a damaged coating and I should return it?

Just bought the AORUS FO32U2. Is the "black screen" issue fully fixed? Need advice before I void my return window

I just picked up the Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2 (the standard version, not the P). I’m super excited about it, but I’ve read a lot of older threads here about the random black screen / signal loss issues that both the FO32U2 and FO32U2P suffer from.
Here is my dilemma: the return policies in my country are incredibly strict. If I peel off the protective factory films, unpack all the cables, or if the store detects that I've been using it for a whole day, they will likely deny a "change of mind" return, claiming it has "signs of use." Because of this, I can't just daily drive the monitor for a week to see if the black screen bug happens to me.
For context, I’ll be running it with an RTX 5070 Ti.

My questions for current owners:

  1. Have the latest firmware updates (F06 or F07) actually 100% fixed the random black screens and signal drops for you?
  2. Is there any quick, reliable way to test for or trigger this issue within a few minutes/hours without fully unpacking everything and removing the films?
  3. Does the black screen issue happen more often in specific scenarios (Alt-Tabbing, specific games, waking from sleep)?
4.Also, do you have any tips regarding the "Tactical Switch" feature? It just freezes the entire system and crashes the game. I can’t set the scaling to GPU in the Nvidia Control Panel, so I left it on Display. Actually, I got it to work a couple of times, but it’s so inconsistent that I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to use it at all. Is there a fix for this?

Any advice would be hugely appreciated! I need to decide whether to keep it or carefully pack it back up and return it while I still can.

I purchased tcl 55 q7c less than a week ago. Idk why but it’s flickering like crazy in hdr 4k on youtube. SDR works fine, also i played pragmata for several hours and didn’t notice any problems. What i tried and it didn’t help:

-I turned off local dimming

-i turned off auto brightness

-turned off motion clarity

-changed gamma and contrast

-checked youtube on pc(plugged into tv), it’s the same

-turned off dynamic tone mapping

-changed brightness

-changed presets

Should i try installing new firmware update via usb?(the current one is v543). Or should i do a factory reset?
