For the Republicans and the undecided voters, This is how shady Vivek is.

This guy used his mom's expertise (she's a geriatric psychiatrist) to help cook the data so that he can sell a fake Alzheimer's drug.

How his mom still has her MD license is beyond. What I am wondering is why there hasn't been a case filed against him? Why has FTC or the SEC filed complaints or charges against him?

Guys the more you read about this guy, the shadier it gets and I hope someone has the balls to file lawsuits against him.

It wouldn't be hard for a lawyer to prepare a class action lawsuit against him and his terrible company right? We have known about his pump and dump for a while now.

Republicans/conservatives and undecided voters this is the guy who wants to run Ohio. He took advantage of desperate families and patients. POS.

This show does a great job showing strong women in intelligence/military

It does a great job showing the dynamic between a civilian husband being married to a strong woman in intelligence. I don't even see Neal as a weak or annoying man. He's a great husband, great father and a great doctor. Dude does surgery and cooks for the family and understands his wife is doing what she believes is right. Stress gets to them but still.

The dynamic between them is one of the best writings I've seen since the Americans on FX.

The actress playing Bobby does an amazing job. She reminds me of my buddies cousin. She served 2 tours in Iraq. A butch lesbian that's fkn badass. Sheridan really outdone himself with the writing. Idk if there's another team he's working with but damn. They did pretty well.

We all agree that some type of iron fist is needed to govern Somalia right?

Look at the state of the nation. You have a region claiming to be independent and making deals with the devil (Somaliland) you got other states that claim to be a part of Somalia but hash out foreign deals. On top of that there are like 100 presidents. They obviously were trying to copy the UAE model of federalism. It doesn't work. The parliament is divided by qabil. The smaller the tribe, the smaller the amount of seats they get right? I think this was modeled after Ethiopia's federal government.

We can clearly see that this isn't going anywhere. Corruption is a byproduct of this system because the people who get to the top of these governments are chosen by the Odeyaal? The tribal leaders literally get paid and they themselves are backwards and corrupt.

Things weren't perfect under siyaad barre but we can all unanimously agree that it was far better under his rule. I hate dictatorships because they always lead to civil wars or some type of turmoil. If the turmoil ends quickly, there are no guarantees that you will have a better leader as a result.

Somehow, I feel like Somalia needs a constitutional monarchy of some sort. The nation needs a guiding hand whenever parliament is in shambles. It's worked exceptionally well for the Netherlands and UK. Despite UK going through PMs like flies the King's presence reassures the public that the government is still functioning. It helped back in the 60s-70s when there was economic peril, the Queen's figurehead presence showed the government is full present.

This might get me downvotes and I hope y'all don't report or flag me but it seems like Somalia will not achieve stability until it forcefully removes this system. How tho? The only way I can see it is through war. Someone needs to come out on top and be honorable. Idk my thoughts are everywhere, I wanna hear y'all's opinion.

Can your phone and computer still record you even if the camera is off?

I was watching a video from Ex-CIA officer John Kiriakou. He says that Smart TVs are a blessing for intelligence agencies because they can turn the speaker into a microphone and some have camera capabilities where they can actually record you even if the damn TV is off. This sounds like some conspiracy theory wacky stuff but a lot of ex military and ex intelligence officers have said similar stuff. Edward Snowden demonstrated ways how a cellphone can record and track us even if the phone is turned off.

Nowadays computers have options to hide the camera lens. Is there like a secret camera behind the screen tho?

So AGI will lead itself to ASI via singularity right? I've read that it's inevitable. How is this not terrifying?

Once AI capabilities reach AGI level. It will build upon that on its own to eventually lead to ASI. This thing will be the apex creature on earth. It will be at the top of the food chain. It will understand humans better than humans themselves.

Every commentary and analysis you read online about this are split. There are those scientists who believe there is a likelihood chance that it will wipe out humanity directly or indirectly. Then there is another group that downplays it.

The ones that warn against it are computer scientists, pioneers of AI, physicists. The ones that are downplaying it are usually guys from corporations like Google or meta. Isn't this terrifying?

Humans should never make peace with the machines.

In matrix resurrection, you have good machines and bad ones but let's be honest, no machine can be trusted.

Learn from the good machines since the human race has lost a lot of knowledge. The goal is to build a strong enough EMP that it can knockout EVERYTHING outside of Io. Or create an EMP sophisticated enough to target sentient machines.

The only good machine is a dead machine.

So I finished my last aligners a week ago and I have been given lingual bonded retainers.

The orthodontist said there isn't really much to be done with the teeth. I've gone through 2 re-scans already and this is the final result.

There have been great improvements don't get me wrong but my expectations were better. Someone told me that teeth shape can't really be changed with Invisalign and that's why I'm seeing things differently. They recommended I get a gingivectomy/gum contouring which can help make the gum line more aligned especially at the top. Other than composite bonding there isn't much left to be done.

What do y'all think?

For the last 3 years, I am noticing a lot more rabbits in Columbus

Since 2023, I started to notice a lot more rabbits in the city. They're adorable I'm not complaining. I see like 4 of them in my backyard play fighting. I see them in the lawn area at work. I see several at the park.

Am I just noticing them now or were there always so many of them in the Columbus area?

The main issue with Islam is Muhammad and his inexcusable immorality.

With Christianity, their central figure was Jesus. He never had an army, no slaves, no concubines, no child marriages, never harmed or murdered anybody tbh. This allows people to go back to that central figure and live like him. The guy was a hippie basically. I don't believe he was god, I don't believe he was resurrected and all that mumbo jumbo nonsense but at the core of his teaching, it was relatively harmless. This is why many atheist or agnostics can go back to Christianity and try to love peacefully like Jesus. The path to reconciling their faith isn't really met with immoral obstacles. Just the suspension of common sense is needed right.

With Islam, if an agnostic or atheist wanted to rectify his faith. He would need to justify all the immoral shit Muhammad did. How TF can you justify slavery, sex slavery, child marriages and capital punishment for apostasy? On top of that, these things are considered moral for all times since Muhammad engaged in them. It's halal and moral.

I was thinking about this earlier. What if I tried to return to Islam. Then all this shit came up. I don't think I can ever go back

Conservatives, how do y'all feel about Vivek running instead of Tressel?

I've been hearing rumors from some folks that Tressel was considering running for governor but a deal with Trump promised that Vivek would get support for Ohio Governor.

If he was the Republican Nominee, he would've obliterated Any Acton. Let's be honest.

Vivek will literally hand the Governor's mansion to a Democrat. First time since Ted strickland. That's pretty crazy.

Anybody who needs their mood uplifted. Vivek got embarrassed today at OSU.

He was booed by the OSU chapter of Young Americans for Liberty. It's a conservative organization. I've watched this video like 10x. A lot of people can smell the BS oozing from this guy.

I think this is the best starting point for Reforming Islam!!!!

So many of the problematic ahaadith have caused issues. Aisha's age, killing apostates and stoning adulterers. Many incidents like the prophet owning slaves and concubine. The prophet trading and buying slaves. All.of these ahaadith are Ahad meaning they are sources from a single companion.

The Mutawatir ahaadith are ones that have multiple sources and they are not as problematic. There are only like 100-300 Mutawatir ahaadith. They usually cover these topics:

Core worship

The Hereafter

Major signs of the Last Day

The Prophet's miracles

The Prophet's well-known characteristics

If these are the ones accepted and all the other Ahad Hadith are rejected or thrown out then things would be so much better. Islam would evolve and become less rigid and pervasive on people's lives like how Christianity has evolved over time.

I never understood why the quranist idiots never adopted this? They have a strong defense against the mainstream Muslims.

Salafism/wahabism started only roughly 200 years ago. They were a minority in Sunni Islam and today they are significant. The Saudis helped spread that shit far and wide.

If there was a group that came out and supported a brand of Islam that doesn't support slavery, child marriage, concubinage, apostasy death laws then they would have a strong argument by stating that the Quran doesn't allow it and there are no Mutawatir Hadith that support it.

When they receive pushback that the Quran has a verse about child marriage or that there is a verse about concubines. They can employ a method called Maqasid Al Sharia. It was heavily used by the Andalusian scholar Ibn hazm. Although Ibn hazm didn't call for banning slavery n such, the methodology used can be employed to the modern day. If persistent this brand of Islam would be very popular and 100 years could potentially become the mainstream brand.

Majority of Muslims today are not comfortable with child marriages, killing apostates, having slaves. The only ones that want that shit are the extremely conservative and fanatics. If you go to Cairo today, you'll find people that love music, women that don't really wear hijab that much. You go to Somalia, they have concerts and parties at beaches (of all Shabab isn't bombing them), you go.to Lebanon (before Israeli maniacs and Hezbollah fkd it up) and you'll find gay dudes just wanna have fun and beautiful discos 😂. I visited Libya Beach in 2008 as a teen I remember there were clubs were people were having fun and enjoying themselves.

There was a part of Benghazi where poets would come out and have little poetry battles. People were smoking, eating and having fun.

Majority of the Muslims out there aren't really too keen with these disturbing Islamic facts (child.marriage and concubinage). Many of them don't even know the disturbing shit because it's so.deep and we'll guarded by scholars.

I.sincerely believe this would be a first great step in reforming Islam. What do y'all think?

How is it that the mathematical error in the Quran isn't made a bigger deal?

It's not even complex math it's basic arithmetic. Allah has made a mathematical error. This is the main reason for me leaving Islam. How TF is an all-wise god, the One who is all knowledgeable, the master of the universe, making simple math errors.

Apart from the inheritance laws being dumb asf and really unfair, the math error is really telling.

It's very odd that Umar, then Ali had to make edits and come up with a solution for the "CLEAR" verses.

Also, verses about Zaynab and Zayd but none about how to pray properly? None about proper zakat procedures? None about Hajj and umrah procedures? These are literally 3 pillars of Islam and the Quran doesn't bother teaching it. Instead we get math errors, personal verses and Musa's story 100x. How TF can this religion be taken seriously.
