YouTube resolution error on Linux

Hi, I switched to Linux, specifically Kubuntu, about a month ago, and I couldn't help but notice that YouTube locks some videos to 360p, making it appear as if no other resolutions exist; however, if I open the same video in Firefox, all resolutions, including HD, are available.

Does anyone know what this is and how I can fix it?

Bluetooth problems in Kubuntu

Hi, I installed ProtonVPN on my laptop running Kubuntu. Since then, Bluetooth audio hasn't been working properly; when playback starts, there are about 5 seconds of stuttering.

The stuttering is consistent, I tested it with a specific song, and the skips always happen at the same spot.

Also, after the Bluetooth has been running for a while, the same issue starts occurring, but at random times.

Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?

Am I the only one whose feed still isn't working?

For the past few months, my feed has stopped working completely.

It simply wouldn't reload, and nothing it showed me was anything I'd ever seen.

Now, if I keep trying, the feed reloads, but it shows the complete opposite of what I usually see, and even things I don't like.

The worst part is that it's not AI-generated content; it's just showing me things I've never seen for no reason. Has anyone found a solution?

Inport animated stikers

Hi, I know you're probably tired of hearing this, but how do I import animated stickers from WhatsApp?

I've already extracted the files, but when I import them into Signal, they become static (yes, I know they have to be in .apng format).

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Contradictory account status - Profile now visible but got automated rejection message after request.

Hey everyone, I need advice on a confusing situation with my Reddit account:

• Had an account restriction and filed an official request this Friday (July 11)

• Yesterday: My profile became PUBLICLY VISIBLE (confirmed via incognito browser, no login)

• Today: Received automated PM saying "request not granted, restriction will remain in place" The contradiction is obvious - if the restriction truly remained, my profile would NOT be publicly visible.

I suspect either the issue was actually resolved but the automated message is wrong, or there's a system glitch. Questions for the community:

  1. Has anyone else experienced this exact contradiction? 2. Should I assume I'm restored and ignore the automated message?

  2. Is it worth contacting Reddit support again despite already requesting?

  3. Any way to definitively confirm my actual account status? I've attached a screenshot of the automated message for reference.

Thanks in advance for any insights!

Several medications from between the 1920s and 1940s

I found them today at a flea market.

The two small red boxes of Brom-Hioscin Inyectable from Palma de Mallorca, Spain, are unopened.

Next, the large red box of Eupnine Vernade from Nanterre, France, is also unopened.

Finally, the bottle of Artrosán from Barcelona, Spain, although its seal is badly damaged, is unopened as well.

Edit:

  1. Brom-Hioscin Inyectable

Description: Two small, unopened red boxes containing an injectable formula manufactured by Laboratorio Vinci in Palma de Mallorca during the 1940s–1950s.

Purpose: It was marketed as a powerful sedative, hypnotic, and antispasmodic.

Key Compounds: A potent historical formulation containing morphine (cloruro mórfico), scopolamine, and sparteine sulfate. It was strictly sold only with a medical prescription.

2. Eupnine Vernade

Description: A large, unopened red cardboard box from Laboratoires Darrasse, located in Nanterre, France. It dates back to the mid-1920s (post-1923).

Purpose: A popular respiratory and cardiac tonic officially approved for use in Paris hospitals.

Key Compounds: Formulated with Caffeine Iodide. It was prescribed to treat asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and heart conditions, with directions allowing it to be mixed with water, milk, or even beer.

3. Artrosán

Description: A beautiful relief-engraved glass bottle inside its original textured cardboard box, manufactured by Laboratorio Badosa in Barcelona. The formula was officially registered in August 1923.

Purpose: A specialized liquid treatment targeting rheumatism, arthritis, gout, and sciatica.

Key Compounds: A fascinating mixture of vintage pharmaceutical patents, combining Schering's Atophan (later banned worldwide due to liver toxicity), Bayer's Piperazine, and Merck's Sodium Salicylate. The bottle is still full and features its original, though damaged, paper seal.

What is the layer above the quartz?

I bought this quartz crystal today because I noticed an opaque layer covering the entire surface. The crystal itself is transparent.

The seller told me it doesn't react with acid; what could it be?

Found a 1920s pocket watch radio in near-mint condition

I found this watch at a flea market. It's in nearly impeccable condition considering it's from the 1920s, plus it still works without any problems.

I also made a 24-hour spectrum and a spectrogram. It's not very exciting, but just for being over 100 years old and still functioning, it's already worth it.

Is a Cyrtolite from El Cabril.

The sample has some crystals of autunite and other things that I really don't know what they are.

I don't know why it is more spicy than my uraninite.

An uraninite sample from Eureka mine, Catalonia.

It's less spicy than I expected, but it's still a good sample.

(Don't worry, I washed my hands thoroughly four times after touching it.)

A little sample of metazeunerite from Atrevida mine, Tarragona.

It isn't so active and my detector can't detect anything, but the seller's detector measured 0.80 µSv/h.

(Sorry for the mistake, my spell checker is more of a mistake creator.)
