Hey everyone, I'm looking for some more people to meet up with who might be interested in film as a medium and as a career. I went to film school some years back and since then I've worked in entertainment for 5 years, but it's more like, social media stuff, so it never really hit the nerve.

I'd love to go out and practice my actual production set skills as well if anyone is up for that, or if anyone just wants to join up for movies and drinks that would be super cool too.

Anyway, I love writing, directing, producing and just generally creating. If you're down to go to some movies and hang out and potentially work on some short films that would be awesome.

Hey Sac citizens! I have a group of almost 200 locals and each week some of us meet up for at least one film and then we go out for drinks and food after. One event we went to was a showing of The Thing at the Crest Theater where there was almost 1,000 attendees all screaming and laughing with the movie. Some of us also work in media and we team up for projects. Two of our members found each other this past week and just worked on a new, local music video!

If you love movies, just want a movie buddy or want a career in film (whether you have any experience or not), come join us! It's a great way to meet friends, enjoy movies and be creative (movie nights and film production do not have to be mutually-exclusive, you can do one or both!).

The group has members of all ages from 20 to nearly 50, all sexual orientations, races, introverts, extroverts, production experts and people who have never even stepped foot on a film set; it is truly a group for everyone who enjoys film as a medium or as a career!

Hello, I am the lead creative strategist and producer at a YT agency and I've gotten a ton of views for creators and this past week I thought, "why would I not try to make my own stuff?" So, that's what I'm doing. I'm aware that the gaming niche is saturated to hell, but I do want to hang out and play games with friends, so if we get along that would be the best case scenario.

If you're aware of Smii7y's content, his friends are loud, have funny banter ready and are aware they're making content in the back of their heads, so like, they wouldn't just run off and not talk in-game.

As for anything else, I very much like the games that he plays and therefore I'm drawn to his content, so those would be the types of games we'd play; goofy, non-serious, no major skill games. Basically games where funny scenarios can occur and no one is sweating like it's COD.

Regarding anything else, as long as you speak English so we can easily communicate, you're fun, loud, generally 20's-30's and are ready to keep content entertaining; I don't really care about anything else regarding particular background stuff.

That's kind of the tier 1 of the group, BUT I'm also looking for people who are into making films and practicing their craft. You don't have to have any experience, you could just be interested or looking for a fun new experience. There's zero pressure to be good or make good films, it's all just practice and I expect us to make a lot of mistakes, but it'll be fun.

You could also be an aspiring actor, a photographer who wants to practice lighting, an aspiring editor, etc. I mean literally anything or nothing, doesn't matter as long as you're willing to help make some cool stuff if you choose to make some short films with us.

At the very least, I think we'll make some friends.
