My TV upgrade got out of hand… 55" → 75" → 98"

Started with a 55" TV, upgraded to 75", and somehow ended up with a 98" 😂 Every time I thought the last one was big enough, I ended up wanting a little more screen.

The jump from 75" to 98" is honestly pretty crazy, especially for gaming and movies. I picked up a Perlegear large TV mount because I wanted something reliable for a TV this size. No way I was putting my new TV on some random cheap mount and worrying about it falling lol.

Curious what everyone went with for mounting their bigger screens? Low-profile, full-motion, or something else?

Slowly upgrading my home office setup

I've been slowly changing up my home office setup, and replacing my old chair was one of those things I kept putting off. The old one wasn't terrible, but after sitting in it all day, I started noticing it wasn't as comfortable as it used to be. I looked at a few used chairs first, then compared some ergonomic chairs around the same price range. Took me longer to decide than I expected.

I ended up going with huanuo ergonomic chair under $200. I liked that it had a lot of ways to adjust without going too far over my budget.

The 6D armrests are probably what I use the most. I didn't think I'd care about all the adjustment options, but they actually come in handy since I switch between work and gaming. The headrest and recline have been nice too. I also didn't pay much attention to seat depth before, but the sliding seat makes it easier to find a comfortable position. Still tweaking the rest of my setup, but so far it's been a nice change.

Got this ergonomic chair for under $200

I'd been wanting to replace my old chair for a while. It wasn't terrible, but after sitting all day I'd definitely feel it in my back. I looked at a few used chairs first, then started comparing new ones around the same price. Took me way longer to decide than I expected.

I ended up going with the HUANUO. The thing that sold me was how adjustable it looked compared to everything else under $200.

After using it for a bit, the 6D armrests have probably been the biggest surprise. I didn't think I'd use all those adjustments, but I actually do since I'm always switching between work and gaming. The headrest and recline have been nice too.

The sliding seat is probably my favorite part though. I honestly didn't think much about it before buying, but it makes getting comfortable a lot easier. Yeah, it doesn't have a 2D lumbar adjustment, but I haven't really cared. Once I got everything set where I wanted it, it's just been comfortable.

(26M) My favorite corner of the apartment right now

Just moved into a new apartment, so I haven't picked up a TV yet. I only work from home every now and then, so a 27" monitor next to the couch has been enough for work, YouTube, and Netflix. I put it on an arm so I can pull it closer when I need it and push it back when I'm done. The cables stay tucked away instead of hanging all over the place, which helps keep this corner looking clean. It does everything I need for now without taking up much space.

Thinking about swapping my boxy sofa for a curved one. Would it work in this room?

My current living room is in p1. I’ve had the straight white sofa for a while, and I’m getting kind of tired of how boxy it feels. With the high ceilings, fireplace, and all the window lines, the room already has a lot of hard angles. I found the curved sofa in p2 and really like the shape. I feel like it might soften the space a bit and make the room feel less stiff. Do you think something curved would work with the current layout and rug? Open to styling ideas. Tia!

Moved the TV onto the wall. Height look okay?

Finally mounted the TV instead of leaving it on the console. Took like 30 mins total. Just measured everything, mounted the bracket, hooked the TV on, and that was basically it.

Only thing I can’t tell now is if the height looks right or if it should come down a little.

Upgraded from 55” to 75”... should I mount it now?

Went from a 55” to a 75” and yeah… I get the hype now. Everything just feels bigger when gaming or watching movies. Now I’m thinking about mounting it instead of leaving it on the stand. Think it’d make the setup look cleaner?
