Hello! A couple weeks ago, we saw a super cheap 35mm camera at Five Below (I'm in Kansas, US) for $7 and my wife suggested I get it because I've missed doing photography and love vintage media. Anyway, long story short, I found my mom's old Canon Rebel 2000 and I joined an expired film club by Brooklyn Film Camera. The new Kodak film is in the cheap camera right now and I'm using the old (2011 exp) CVS film in the Canon. The other film is from the club and each comes with a card explaining the film, it's expiration, and recommended ISO.
I haven't shot film since the 90s, having shot digital since with a Nikon D60 and D3300 mostly.
I'd love any advice or suggestions for someone getting back into it.

So I bought something pretty unique. Did you know that Nintendo had a VR system before the VirtualBoy? This is the Famicom 3D System. It is compatible with both the Famicom and Famicom Disk System, though it only has 7 total compatible games. Due to the stereoscopic technology, you really need a CRT but the good news is that I only play retro consoles on CRTs.
New update coming this fall and it looks great! Definitely looking forward to new content.
It's alphabetical except for the Holy Trinity. I have more on Laserdisc, DVD, and Blu-ray. In total I own about 2/3s of his catalog.

Someone on FB Marketplace was selling the Famicom Disk System and I couldn't pass it up. The only problem was that I didn't have the Famicom... And now... Well now I do! And the Super! Time to build the library.
