My final exams are over

Final year MBBS student here. and I’ve recently come back from a trip that I had been looking forward to for a long time. The vacation was amazing, but now that I’m back home, reality has hit and I’m in a strange phase of life. For the first time in years, I don’t have an exam to prepare for immediately. At the same time, my results aren’t out yet, so I don’t fully feel “done” either.Kal hi obsession Dekh k aayi.Plus, I’m slowly starting to realize that I might be feeling lonely. Maybe it’s because I don’t have much on my plate anymore and suddenly have a lot of free time.
Idk what to do lol

Kalgha is beautiful, but this left a bad taste

We reached Kalga in the afternoon and, since the trip was a bit spontaneous, decided to look for accommodation on the spot. We first checked a homestay called New Brahma Home and then another place opposite Freedom Cafe.

At the second place, we asked if any rooms were available. The owner told us they were full. However, we could clearly see empty rooms and asked again, but he still refused. As we were leaving, two foreign girls walked in and asked the same question. This time, he immediately said rooms were available on the upper floor and took them to have a look. That interaction honestly made me feel quite small and unwelcome. We were ready to pay whatever the room cost and were genuinely looking for a place. And it’s funny how the owner himself was Indian.
A few other places also turned us away despite appearing to have vacant rooms. In the end, we found room at THC, which turned out to be lovely, and the rest of our time in Kalga was great.

I’m sharing this because I’m curious if other Indian travelers have had similar experiences in Kalga or if this was just an unfortunate one-off incident.

25 F 87 kgs to 76 kgs in 7-8 months and since then stuck on same weight range

Been stuck losing and gaining the same 2kg on loop.
Hit 72.5kg in Jan, then exams, stress, and sitting all day undid it.
Restarting now. No exams for a year, so it's time to put my health first again.

So people on this Reddit can y’all please help me break these loop and if you faced the same issue what was the best way to get out of it?

Good food. Better memories.

  1. Agrawal Sweets, near taxi stand Laxman
    Jhula
Must try: lassi + kachori with chutney. No notes.

  2. Darjeeling Momos -
    opens around 4pm
Easily the best momos I've ever had. Chef's kiss.

  3. Random chai stall on the way to Kyarki
    Viewpoint
Nothing fancy, just really, really good chai.

  4. Ganga View Cafe
Latte: 8/10. Morning view + zero crowd:
    100/10.
Perfect way to start the day.

  1. and 6)
    Gita bhawan
Went there twice or three throughout the trip
    Prices are soo pocket friendly
    Day one
had puri bhaji was okayish but the gulabjamun and kachori were amazing

Day two
surprisingly for 30 rs we got best batch of 4 puris and aloo sabzi which tasted way better than first day and rassgulla was topnotch as well
Plus must try anjeer barfi and make sure you pack some for your family.

Me and my brother reached delhi at 3:30 am at ISBT gate

A cluster of auto walas surrounded us: "Kaha jaana hai?" Wouldn't leave. Felt reallyy unsafe
We needed to reach NDLS for our train next day at 3pm, so we finally told one guy to take us there.
Bro took us to Sadar Bazar instead and hit us with: "Apko rooms chahiye na? Family friendly, government approved hotel le chalta hu"
We literally just said our train is in the afternoon.
He kept pushing stays on us.
We said "Bhaiya railway station jana hai."
He goes “Railway station me kaha rahoge itne raat ko? Aapki safety mere liye important hai." Then offered a "cheaper stay" if budget was the issue.
My brother”Bas station chod do."
Him: "Waha phone le lega koi, bag chura lega, madam ki gold chain chori kar lega."
We still said station. He charged double and finally dropped us.
Is this normal ?? Wtf??
Like literally never felt soo unsafe thought hamara savdhan India hojayega aaj
