Help to find reference and naming for kingdoms

Hello guys I'm an indie game developer and currently I'm trying to make a prototype. I need help to find reference that could fit for the lore of my game. These reference will be use more for the visual aspect. I also need help for the naming for the faction so that the faction is not just kingdom of x etc. I really appreciate for those that help

The game:

The game is a basebuilding Roguelike where you play as a degenerate strategist. Instead of relying on the conventional strategy, you rely on gamble. You spin slot to gain money and spin roulette to hire unit. There are multiple kingdoms, each has their unique unit, building etc.

I want to enrich the kingdoms by giving them a little lore which also work to give a blueprint on the vibe of their kingdom. Below are short description for each kingdoms

Kingdom of Death

After a millennium, the Grim Reaper finally finished his chess match against a mortal. Amused by the man’s desperate will to resist, the Reaper decided to descend upon the world. He arrived at the holiest of sanctuaries, where the warm golden sun was instantly devoured by black clouds. Thunder rolled across the sky like the beating of a war drum.

The verdant landscape withered into a sickly brown. Cities that once bustled with life collapsed into decayed rubble. From beneath the ruins, a new structure began to rise, an obsidian spire erected until it pierced the very heavens. The architecture instilled a sense of crushing insignificance in all who gazed upon it. At the heart of the city, upon the highest level of the silent, freezing throne room, the Grim Reaper proclaimed:

"I welcome thee to my kingdom. Step forward, those who wish to be freed from life and shackled by death."

Kingdom of Blood

Knowledge of this realm is stitched together from frantic hearsay and notes recovered from the pockets of the dead. One journal claims the kingdom is trapped in a cyclical nightmare; another insists it is a single, eternal night. Some entries remark on the deafening ravings of madness, while others describe the primal roar of a beast or the cold, mocking scoff of a hunter. One note praises the beauty of a serene midnight, while the next expresses horror at the sight of a weeping, blood-red moon.

Despite these contradictions and the vast gulfs of time between each record, they all conclude with the same chilling chant:

"Everything begins and ends with the blood."

Kingdom of Control

A single scroll fell from the heavens. When one man read its contents, he felt a frantic need to share it. Two readers became four, then fifty, then a thousand, then a million. The scripture was a memetic infection, spreading like wildfire. Those who read the scroll were irrevocably changed, they abandoned their past selves. Their behaviour is puzzling, bizzare, intriguing but ultimately terrifying.

They claim their singular goal is to achieve "Superior Singularity." In pursuit of this, they have built a civilization that advances faster than any kingdom in history, yet they lament that their prize remains out of reach. What does their goal truly entail? What is the "Superior Singularity"? And what is written upon that scroll? Perhaps it is best that no sane soul ever lays eyes upon such foul scripture.

Kingdom of Plague

A Great Blight befell the kingdom, a sickness that tormented humanity and dragged them into the depths of despair. Yet, despite the cruelty of the rot, humanity endured. After a century of agony, they finally found their "light." Through countless sacrifices, the plague was transformed into a blessing.

The survivors found a way to harness and manipulate the disease. They pave a new path for mankind, a path illuminated not by golden divinity but by the glow of "Divine Decay." Is this a triumph of human will over nature? Or is it merely a cosmic conspiracy, an entity guiding humanity toward a divine evolution?

Thank you for your help
