I recently replaced the LCD screen in my dash temperature gauge -- screen works great now, which is terrific. But what I've noticed is that when the weather's warm, the displayed temp displayed is often like 20(f) higher than actual outside temp.

I know the temperature sensor itself is somewhere up front, But I'd kind of expected it would be a works or totally doesn't work kind of part, as opposed to "Just totally wrong a lot of the time" kind of thing.

Hoping someone has some tips for troubleshooting?
