So I met this girl on an airplane a few weeks ago and we really hit it off talking at least half the trip to where we were going. After we landed and before we got off the plane, I asked her if she would like to exchange numbers so we could connect when we returned home…she said yes, so we exchanged.
We started chatting and really hit it off and we got together the following weekend on a Sunday for our first date, it was dinner and a few drinks and again we really hit it off.
We then had our second date at a sushi restaurant, and things went extremely well. We talk nonstop and the time flies, and we both acknowledge that we love each other‘s company.
Yesterday we had our third date where we met for lunch we then had an activity where we went to an escape room, and we then went to a movie that she chose and had a great time. during this whole day we held hands and she stroked the back of my neck as we drove to the movie and the escape room and we hugged several times and they were very intimate.
The weird part is that when I dropped her off at her place, we hugged. I kissed her on the cheek, and then I leaned in to kiss her on the lips which would’ve been our first kiss and when I leaned in she turned her head and my kiss landed somewhere between her lips and her cheek, and it just felt kind of odd. I’ve felt awkward ever since then and hoping I’m not reading too much into it.
My need for advice here is what does that mean? We both have acknowledged we enjoy each other‘s company and we’re interested in moving forward to see where it goes but again this was the third date and I was expecting at least a small kiss after the date finished.
We have both been married in the past and both are at a point we would like to find someone.

First date Sunday afternoon...we are going to meet up in Bishop Arts in the afternoon, have a drink and grab dinner...what is parking like and where can you park? Looks like there is a parking lot, is that the only spot to park or are there others I'm not seeing on the map? Since we are meeting there I want to make sure I give her good information...

I (55m) live in Fort Worth, close to downtown, and I am trying to find a good meeting spot for a first date. She (42F) lives in Mesquite so I’m looking to find something that is a good meeting spot for her without having to drive too far. Whiskey Cake in Plano or Las Colinas have always been good spots for first dates but seem far from her.

Had to pick up my son and she got visibly sad and teary eyed when we were talking. I just came back from a trip, my first without her, to a place she would have loved… I’m struggling because I want to send her a message with some BS song that’s pulling on my heart strings right now. I’m feeling weak and not sure how to handle…
