Always an interesting question. Which version is more important, from a cultural, and popularity perspective in the area you are from?
I've seen a lot of pictures and videos from the late 90s/early 2000s. I've noticed that a lot of band members (and just people in the crowd) seem to be wearing these necklaces, also chokers, and sometimes both (like a choker with a necklace over it) This era was before my time. I'm curious if anyone knows why this was a trend, or what the origin of it was in the scene.
