A frenzy of movie ticket buying just happened this morning at the IMAX location for Harkins Theaters.
I was so frustrated because the website and app were both crashing. I ended up with really good seats but on the wrong days...Did anyone else experience this?? I'm going to have to refund at a loss due to the stupid processing fee online.

Hello everyone; am I the only one who is disappointed that Chris Nolan and Hans Zimmer might never end up working on movies again?
Ludwig Goransson is certainly a master of his craft, his work on Tenet, Oppenheimer, and now the Odyssey are quite spectacular! But I do still think I would place those sound tracks aside for Inception, Interstellar, the Dark Knight trilogy— all of which were Zimmer works.
I heard that initially the split happened due to Hans Zimmer wanting to work on Dune ever since he was young, and that conflicted with the Tenet project(and Dune soundtracks are incredible as well!!). After this third movie that Chris and Ludwig have produced though, it seems improbable that Hans and Chris get back together…I am very disappointed by this reality. They are both such GOATs in their lines of work.
EDIT: Hey everyone, this has been a great discussion. I think after reading all of your comments, I have come to this conclusion - Hans Zimmer score producing performance peaks when he is working with Chris Nolan. Some of you were saying lots of zimmer’s work is very recognizable and maybe even “same old same”. Well, if you look at just his Nolan work, then I believe you see quite a mosaic of difference between the movie scores he has produced.
My main disappointment was that when they work together, I feel like magic really happens. Now Ludwig has stepped into those shoes and we are getting some incredible work too, but I guess what I’ve learned from this post is that I do prefer those more memorable tracks you can listen to outside of the movie like Mombassa(inception) or docking(interstellar). Ludwig has a few as well, like Freeports(Tenet) or Can you Hear the Music (Oppenheimer), but for me the tracks from Hans/Nolan stretch much longer in terms of the quantity of tracks that are awesome to hear outside of the movie!
And for those of you who say Odyssey track is spectacular, I think so too! But you won’t catch me listening to Zeus’s Law(Track 1) or Circe(track 11), for example, outside of the movie. There’s just nothing there by itself for me.

It has now been 22 months since we submitted everything to the San Francisco consulate, and every time I request a status update, the process still shows as “Por Integrar Centrais.” That means it hasn’t even reached the first integration step. The application was filed in July 2024, and nothing has moved since then. Do you know how long this stage usually takes? Both of my father’s parents were Portuguese.
