Would you actually use this when you can’t go fishing?

For those of you stuck indoors because of winter or bad weather — would you actually use something like this?

Random thought: fishing games would be way more fun with an actual rod 🎣

Had a random thought — what if you paired a Switch with a fishing rod instead of just using a normal controller?

Obviously it’s still virtual fishing, but casting and reeling like this seems like it could make the whole thing feel a lot more immersive.

Would you actually play a fishing game this way, or would it get old pretty quickly?

Would you play Fishing Planet with this 3D-printed fishing rod controller?

I designed and built this fishing rod controller myself using 3D-printed parts. Would you guys give it a try?

Small fish, but a perfect take on the fly

Spent a quiet afternoon working a small stretch of water with a light fly setup. This little one took a small fly close to the bank.

Definitely not a trophy, but seeing the take and feeling it on the fly rod made the whole session worth it. Sometimes the smaller catches are just as satisfying.

What do you actually do when weather keeps you off the water for several days?

We’ve had several straight days of heavy rain, so getting out safely

hasn’t really been an option.

I’ve already reorganized my tackle, watched more fishing videos than

I’d like to admit, and finally ended up opening a fishing game.

When weather keeps you off the water for a week or longer, what do you

actually do?

Work on gear? Buy more tackle? Watch fishing content? Play fishing games?

Or just switch to another hobby until conditions improve?
