First Time Buyer

Hi!
Thanks to the funds from my recent divorce settlement combined with the payout for my recently totaled (weather) car, I can pay cash for a new or used car well-over $40k. However, buying a ridiculous car just because I can would be stupid, so I’m won’t.
Additionally, due to my divorce being batty, my credit got pretty ruined and financing with my shitty score would cost me probably ~$10k more over time.
I need advice on how to approach this. And it shouldn’t matter, but it does down here, I’ve been shown time after time: I’m 32/F and conventionally pretty/put-together.

My question:

Do I tell the salesperson I can pay cash at a certain point in shopping or lead with it? Will I get taken advantage because of this fact or get a better deal?

7-Up Cake

We all know these are absurdly good and I, like many of you, can and sadly have eaten an entire one in a single day by myself.
I’ve tried to figure this out on my own and I just need to know so I can stop thinking about it 😂:
Is there any 7-Up in this cake?

My car is parked in long-term and almost definitely damaged but I obviously have no idea to what extent.

I don’t land until 9:30ish tonight and live in Bolivar.

I’ve never been in an accident/had an experience like this where my car might not be drivable, and I’d love advice on if I should just get an Uber home and come back to deal with all of it in the morning or get towed, etc. tonight.

Long shot and maybe overly optimistic because of the midwestern in me, but does someone staying in or near Palms Place have a dress I could borrow for the evening? I don’t really have time to go shopping and thought my laundry drop off would be done by now 🙃

Size 10ish?
