Upon witnessing the stars in night sky beyond the bus window where the city slumbers and sinners slept, my wandering mind once again formed countless thought of my destiny.
The glass reflecting me was neither a face nor a human.
Only a clock that ticks.
And countless stars above the night sky.
Question arose in times like these where I'm alone with my thoughts.
Why is my head a clock?
Why do certain words like "aspect" trigger me so much?
Why do those people beyond this hell we live in call me a star?
The question began to flood my mind like tidal waves—unending and merciless.
Yet the stars themselves did not answer this lowly clock.
It simply shone above the hellscape we live in and yet that is enough to tranquil the waves inside me.
I felt a sense of belonging looking upon the stars as though beyond this hell there was a place I once called home.
Perhaps I was the star like otherworldly said.
Or perhaps I simply wish to be one.
My duty as manager is simple.
Manage the sinners and collect the golden bough.
This is what the company expects me to do, after all since they have the key to regaining my memory.
Yet within the journey to collect them, my heart simply cannot view them as mere coworkers.
Each carries a scar from the past that they cannot escape.
Each struggle against regret, desires, wound that stubbornly refuses to heal.
A soldier facing a battlefield of a war that has long ended.
A hatchling forced out from its shell before it was ready to face the world
A sailor who has nothing but a goal of revenge and nothing after that.
Each falters upon the weight of facing the past.
And each time, i turned the clock around once more.
Not because it is my duty as their manager.
But because I am a clock who they can rely on and view as a star to follow.
Perhaps this is why Faust called me a star.
Not because i carried the pain of reviving them nor being a manager of them.
But because when their path vanished beneath the darkness and hit rock bottom, I remain.
A guide who nudges them forward toward the right path when they are lost in the dark.
A witness to their struggles, growth, and the scars they learn to accept and carry with in their journey.
A star to follow when they lose their way again.
Until one day, they no longer need to look at my clock to know where they need to go and go off to their own path.
And I shall continue my journey to reclaim my forgotten memories.
The flesh trembles upon the pain of the nail strike.
Good.
Let it tremble and feel the pain of the nail.
For iron knows no fear and thus have no feel when the nail strikes it,
And a nail does not hesitate
Before entering rotten steel and removing it.
Why should we?
Look upon yourselves.
The shaking hands.
The screaming flesh.
The beating heart.
The desires hidden beneath prayer of survival.
Can you not smell it?
The stench of humanity.
The filth is buried beneath skin.
The disease called self.
They call me cruel.
Yet I offer mercy, to remove impurity from one's pure body.
For what greater salvation exists
Than to tear sickness from the body?
What greater love exists
Than to burn away corruption of metallic parts
Until only the purity of humanity remains?
Raise the hammer.
Hear its sacred hymn.
Each strike a confession.
Each wound a prayer.
Each drop of blood
A step closer towards purity of heaven.
Do not fear the pain.
Pain is proof of purity.
The flesh screams because it knows
The reign of impurity is ending.
The heart beats for the last time because it understands
It was never worthy to live on from the moment impurity is removed.
Strip away weakness.
Strip away doubt.
Strip away longing.
Strip away love.
For love chains mankind to the earth,
And yearning binds the soul to filth called "metallic parts".
What remains?
Nothing.
And that is beautiful.
For in emptiness there is perfection.
In perfection there is purity.
And in purity—
Ascension.
Come.
The nails are waiting for your arrival.
The heavens stand beyond the suffering.
Leave your humanity upon this altar.
Let it bleed.
Let it die.
Let it become holy.
And when the final impurity is gone,
We shall rise together—
Bright as the stars,
Silent as wind,
Pure at last.

Personally as someone who forgets themself I mean 8000 years Is a long time and she will forget many things even herself so when the time comes and she interacts with her younger self she slowly piece together who she once was before the departure and as someone whose dream was long dead and accept her normal ending until a certain someone show up and revive that once impossibly dream and change her normal ending into a happy one
