Not signing a lease until a week before move in?
Long story short we are selling our home and moving to an apartment to be closer to family due to aging parents and illness. We're selling our place at the end of July, but availability in the new apartment isn't until the end of August.
I applied, was accepted, and provided all the pre-move in documents as well (confirmation of scheduling utility start, renters insurance, etc), but still haven't gotten the lease. I called in after 2 weeks of not hearing anything and the property manager tells me they don't usually have renters sign leases until a week prior to move in.
This seems rather odd and risky. Odd because every other apartment complex I've experienced is breaking their neck to get you to sign and lock you in and count revenue. Risky because we already need to couch/hotel surf for nearly a month so I don't want to get to a week before move in and for whatever reason, it isn't available anymore.
They insist this is their process and have never had an issue, but I'm an in writing type of guy and if a signed document doesn't exist, it isn't real. Am I being paranoid here or is this some standard practice that I've just never encountered?
Moving interstate, Form 20 question (transport of "SBR")
I'm moving interstate (MN to MI) in less than 2 weeks and among all of the stuff we need to prep for moving, I forgot to check the ATF notification requirements. I have both a suppressor and an SBR and know that Michigan allows for both items.
For the suppressor, I understand I can submit this AFTER I move, which alleviates the time pressure.
I also have an SBR, which is actually a pistol with a stock instead of a brace. I understand this must be reported and stamp received BEFORE I move.
Due to me moving out before the end of the month and anticipating not receiving the physical tax stamp/approval form before I do, can I just disassemble the SBR back into a pistol, keep it that way, submit the 20 and reassemble it into an SBR when I receive the stamp?
Somebody just paid $3,500 for a PSA mislabeled common...

Not complaining, but what are we celebrating? The fact that the phantom "free" red dot is finally gone? 😅
It's 2:45AM and I can't sleep due to stress. I work a regular 8-5 and need to start my day in a few hours. FML
reddit.comSearch manipulation: no consequences?
My nephew loves Messi and his birthday is coming up in about 2 months so figured I'd look for some cards of his favorite player. Any search for him is filled with junk listings of base cards of players not related because he is included as a keyword in the description. There are literally 10+ pages of this one seller's junk that you can't find anything at all. It's the same account that's doing it and I've reported dozens of his listings before and they've been taken down, but there is no actual punishment so they keep doing it. Ebay agrees that it's a violation of their search manipulation policy, but only removes individual listings.
What else can be done here? There is no category for this when reporting the account. Just a ton of junk and a huge waste of time.
Cecilia: build for damage or fast support?
Got lucky today pulling 70 voids during 2x. Hydra and arena are where I would consider using her. Is she more effective as a nuker or for a fast support? I don't have the gear to do both.
