Mostly sarcasm here but based in truth.

We both have them but occasionally one of us will either forget to wear them or have taken them out for whatever reason.

We have to coordinate this with the TV or radio volume & also how loud we speak to each other.

Someone listening to our conversation would think we’re mad at each other.

By worth it I mean does it get rid of all of the commercials or just some?

For starters, I love both the book and TV series. While reading the Q&A’s on this site I think it’s important for everyone to consider how young the main characters were in 1944 & then compare that to your own maturity or what-not at that same age.

Winters-26, Sink-39, Guarnere-21, Compton-23, Nixon-26, etc.

I cannot begin to imagine myself at that same age & having to deal with the amount of responsibility these guys had or trying to make deadly spur of the moment decisions. Wow, just wow!

They indeed earned the title of the Greatest Generation.

Just curious, …….and before people go crazy and start accusing me of something, this is no different than asking if a Baptist church is 1st. Baptist, 2nd, 3rd, or reformed Baptist, etc.
