first 3 photos are after my 4 ultrasound dissolving treatments, last 3 are before i ever got filler in the first place. please don’t compliment how beautiful my natural lips were. if anyone has any advice or knows what could be causing the border to be so protruding and what might be preventing my lips from going back to their baseline please let me know. The ultrasound shows very little filler left. what is that white roll above my lip? it wasn’t as prominent before. is this swelling??

edit- i only had the filler in for a month. and the reason why I’m asking about this is because the fullness and distortion of my lips makes me look weird and I feel it throws my proportions off I miss my old lips. do you guys think this is permanent? :(

also please don’t give your own experiences in the comments if you haven’t found a solution. not that i don’t care, but i’m looking to fix it not just to find people who relate

So I had filler then had one dissolving session but you can see there is still a white ridge above my lip that is more prominent in overhead lighting that I did not have before. It’s especially visible on the sides of my lips. The last two photos were my virgin lips for comparison. Do you guys think this is filler or swelling or something else entirely?

2 days ago, i noticed this fluid filled blister on the back of my hand and today it got more red, a bit painful, and looks like it may be leaking fluid. the white part got bigger. any clue as to what this could be? Could it be a wart? HPV? A bug bite? HSV?

OK so I have kind of a long history. I first got my lips filled with one ML of revanesse. Then a month later I dissolved with three dissolving sessions. Then two weeks later I got one ML of RHA3. Then two weeks later I dissolved with 2 dissolving sessions. Then 2 weeks later i refilled with RHA 2. Then 2 weeks later I dissolved again with 4 dissolving sessions (3 vials of hylenex). OK and I know it sounds crazy how much I was filling and refilling but I didn’t know exactly what I wanted and after trying different styles I realized I was happiest with my revanesse result. I want to be back at my baseline but now my lips have this shadow above them which become especially prominent when i purse my lips. My injector says she thinks it’s just swelling but i’m not sure. i’m almost 2 weeks out from my last dissolving session so I don’t know if this is just swelling or leftover filler. I’m kind of scared because I wasn’t aware of the consequences of refilling and dissolving but I’m hoping my tissue can recover. Anyways if anyone has any insight as to what could be happening that would be really helpful but I don’t want to do any more dissolving sessions if I don’t have to.
