Sweet treat tip
Highly recommend boars head chocolate hummus desert dip. Taste like raw brownie batter in the best way. I enjoy it with strawberries every single day and it never spikes me. If you are a chocolate lover I highly recommend

Would love to hear from this community about if their vaginal induction was successful. If so, how long did labor take? If it was unsuccessful, in hindsight would you have opted for a c section from the beginning?
I am 33 weeks right now and have had a challenging pregnancy with cervical insufficiency and needing a cervical cerclage plus bed rest for 8 weeks. Also have GD and she is a big chunky baby so will have to be induced 38 weeks.
Today I am craving a homemade vanilla white chocolate molten cake with some kind of condensed milk drizzle, vanilla ice cream with real vanilla paste cream and like something salty maybe a salted caramel drizzle. Stay tuned for tomorrows cravings #32 weeks #grumpy
I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and high risk due to cervical insuffiency with cerclage, gestational diabetes, and high BMI. Throughout the day I noticed a decrease in baby movement and decided to go to the hospital. Baby girl passed her NST (I only felt her move 3-4 times on it) and she got a 6/8 on her BPP ultrasound. She passed every area but practice breathing. The labor and delivery doctor said that at 30 weeks it’s not fully expected for her to be consistently doing practice breathing. Now that I’m home I was able to do a kick count session (10 in one hour). I just can’t shake the feeling that I’m worried about my baby. Anyone else not pass the practice breathing early in third trimester and baby ended up being ok?

WHY WOULD SARA LEE BREAD, EGG WITH NO YOLK AND BACON AND MUSTARD CAUSE MY SUGAR TO BE 164. WHY WHY WHY WHY. I’m getting very agitated and hungry. That is all
Hi moms to be, I am 29 weeks pregnant with a high risk pregnancy due to a high BMI, gestational diabetes, PCOS, and a cerclage due to cervical insufficiency. The first trimester and half of second were super easy until these complications came about. I am seeking support on those who chose to have an elected c section and those who ended up having an emergency c section. The more research I do the more I read about people with high BMIs requiring a c section as well as experience with 3/4 of my mom friends. I have just been constantly on edge of losing this baby. I love her so much and want whatever is safest for her regardless of how long recovery may take for me

Hi everyone, I am currently 29 weeks pregnant with cervical insufficiency. I have had cerclage surgery and have been on bed rest for 7 weeks and plan to until I hit the 31-32 mark and have no choice but to return to work due to medical leave running out. I have been reading through this group to mentally prepare for what every week with a preterm baby can look like due to being in danger of early labor. I would love to hear success stories of babies born at the 31-32 mark as well as long term outcomes. I’m a Speech Language Pathologist and truly fear having a child with complex needs because I know what it looks like on a daily basis. I appreciate your support 💜
Background: emergency cerclage placed at 22w4d. No measurable cervix-.8cm left. 1-2cm dilated at the time.
Currently: 29 weeks with funneling to the stitch. 1.5cm remaining cervix left
Since my Cerclage I have been on modified bed rest for 7 weeks now. I plan to return to work in 20 days which is when I’ll be hitting the 31.5-32 week mark. I have prolonged my return because of my gut feeling that being off of my feet has really helped. However, I am terrified of going back and going into early labor. I’m a Speech Language Pathologist at a rehab facility where I have to give speech therapy from client room to room. I’m just terrified of something happening when I go back. I feel angry at our system that I can’t just take the remainder of the pregnancy off without fear of losing my job. To me, the fear of losing my baby is far worse and I want to say screw my job but I have bills to pay. Can anyone relate? Any success stories about returning to work and the Cerclage still holding strong?
Hi all, I am 26w2d pregnant with an emergency cerclage placed at 22w. My post op appointment went well with my cervix measuring over 3cm 10 days post procedure. However, now I have learned at 25W that I am funneled to the stitch with only 1.1cm remaining. I have been off of work for a month now and have placed myself on modified bed rest. My midwife’s nurse is currently replying in the patient portal that they are unable to extend my FMLA to 32 weeks per my request because they think it’s crucial to have more postpartum time off. I understand the concern. However, I am extremely concerned about returning to a physically active job and going into labor when the risks are still high for an extreme premie. Any advice? My PCP may be able to write a request if needed (he’s my uncle)
Hi all! As I approach my third trimester I am finalizing my baby registry with my baby shower being late next month. Has anyone had any luck finding a baby carrier that would fit someone who’s plus size? Before pregnancy I was a 3x, but now I’ve gained 25lbs
Hi everyone, I just wanted to hear from you all if you guys are celebrating Mother’s day this year for you as a soon to be mom. My mom and her best friend are still in full swing planning my baby shower that’s at week 30 (I’m 25 weeks), but I’m just terrified to be too excited. It’s just so sad. My CI has brought on so much fear.
Hi all, I posted recently about my recent cerclage 10 days ago where I was 1cm dilated and .8cm length cerclage. Today I had my follow up transvaginal ultrasound where they saw the funneling closed and I’m now 3.67cm? Is this even possible? I think I’m just worried to trust the scans since I went from a 4cm cervix with abdominal scan one day and 5 days later less than 1cm.
What was your post cerclage length and how long did it take before it shortened again? I go back in two weeks to follow up again for peace of mind
