41 possibly pregnant. Emergency contraceptives?

I’m 41, have two kids, and I’m not on birth control and never really have been. About 2½ months ago I had a D&C to remove an endometrial polyp. The last time I had a D&C was after a miscarriage in 2011, and I ended up getting pregnant with my rainbow baby almost immediately afterward.
My husband and I honestly don’t have sex very often because I’ve been dealing with abnormal uterine bleeding for about 2½ years. I bleed between periods, my actual periods last around 7 days and can be extremely heavy, and the cramping can be so severe that I’m basically attached to a heating pad and sometimes can barely function. I’ll randomly get a few glorious days with no bleeding, which is what happened this month.
Well… I finally wasn’t bleeding, so I gave in. 🤦‍♀️ We had sex on cycle days 13 and 14 with no condom and only used the pull-out method.
Afterward it dawned on me how quickly I got pregnant after my previous D&C, so naturally I went straight to my apps. According to my Oura Ring temperatures and Glow, my highest-fertility days were around cycle days 12–13. In the past, when I was tracking ovulation more closely while taking progesterone for the abnormal bleeding, I would also typically get high-fertility ovulation tests around cycle day 13 and then start progesterone a few days later.
So basically, I may have managed to have unprotected sex right around ovulation. 🫠
I absolutely do not want to be 41, unexpectedly pregnant, AND still dealing with all of these uterine bleeding issues.
From what I’ve been reading, if I had already ovulated, Plan B may not be effective. I’ve also been trying to figure out my IUD options for emergency contraception. The copper IUD worries me because I already hemorrhage during my periods and have horrible cramping, so the possibility of making my bleeding or cramps worse sounds miserable.
Has anyone been in a similar situation where you believed you had already ovulated when the unprotected sex happened? Was there an emergency contraception option your doctor recommended or used after suspected ovulation?
Would the mirena be too late for insertion tomorrow to prevent pregnancy?

Would it be too late tomorrow to have the mirena put in? It would be within 5 days of sex but I may have already ovulated.

I am 41

Guys, I am 41 with two kids. I am on no birth control and never have been and I recently had a D&C for a polyp removal 2 1/2 months ago. After I had a D&C for my miscarriage, I got pregnant right away back in 2011. My husband and I don’t have sex often because I have a lot of abnormal uterine bleeding between periods and it just makes me feel disgusting. I ended up not having any bleeding and I gave in which would’ve been cycle day 13 and 14. Looking at my oura ring temps and my Glow app. It states that my highest fertility would’ve been cycle day 12 and 13. We had sex with no condom and is the pull out method only. It dawned on me how quickly I got pregnant after my D&C with my rainbow baby so that’s when I went to go check my apps. When I was taking progesterone for my abnormal uterine bleeding, I would track with ovulation test and I always tested high fertility around cycle day 13 and then would start my progesterone a few days later so basically I just had unprotected sex and have already ovulated. I don’t wanna be 41 and pregnant and dealing with all this abnormal uterine bleeding. I see since I already ovulated that Plan B in the mirena IUD is too late to insert. I see that I can have the copper IUD, but I already bleed extremely heavy and cramp extremely bad to where I cannot have a job. Backstory I’ve been bleeding in between cycles for 2 1/2 years with seven days of a period where I hemorrhage and cramp so bad that I have to crawl and live with a heating pad on me. I get random days off of no bleeding. Has anyone else found an emergency contraceptive that they used after they have already ovulated?

Looking for must things to do in Atlantis! We’re staying there 6 days. Thoughts on an Exuma excursion? Worth it? Best places to eat. I have two teen boys that love all fun! Not just waterparks.
