This occurs after unlocking the device. Pulling down on the notification shade just does this. Receiving a notification also makes the entire screen go black, except for where the notification banner.

I built an open source Python program to replace the Canadian government's amateur radio practice exam generator because the website has problems. The questions come from the Canadian government still, though, so it's a perfectly valid exam generator.

How can I be as easy as possible to work with?
In the event where I go into a job where I'm overseen by IT and not an IT guy myself, how can I be as easy to work with as possible? I know my way around computers (feel free to check my profile for proof), but I've seen horror stories where end users say "I know computers" but then are hell to work with.
And by work with, I mean being overseen by as an end user, if that makes sense.
