Has anyone been prescribed just Low-Dose Naltrexone and it’s help with their pain?
reddit.comRating MMI
Is it true if you didn’t get your rating within a year, your payout will be less?
Still in pain (first time going through workers comp) the epidural shots are not helping 100%
I am going to research if there are other options besides the shots and surgery. I asked the doctor to put me out on light duty, but my job requires restraint and I am not ready for that and he also feels it could be risky going back full time
Sun? Summer? Winter months
Are people finding staying in the sun or outside getting some sun helping with their symptoms and or pain? Versus in the winter months.
Both my jobs, I am mostly working indoors, but I do make sure I take my vitamin D3+ K2 supplement. (Can help with nerve help and inflammation)
Also I’ve heard some people are trying red light therapist, has anyone tried it and felt like it helped? Or even with infrared light.
Please give me your weird, not researched ideas that possibly have helped you with trigeminal neuralgia? Research peptides
balloon rhizotomy, Radiofrequency rhizotomy (RFA) or Gamma Knife radiosurgery
I am not a candidate for MVD. I found a doctor that does Balloon rhizotomy. I am considering doing this procedure. Has anyone had it done? What was it like the first couple of days hospital stay? Was it worth it? Did Pain come back?
Also, if you were able to do the other procedures, please let me know your experience!
I’ve been struggling (I’m sure you guys have as well) and while the pain is so much better, the side effects are unbearable
I would like to know what a day is like in Neuro ICU.
reddit.comFriend cannot hold water to save her life
I know I shouldn’t tell her things that I do not want out… but I found out from her friend what she has been saying about me. Lol there are things I want private. We talked about this plenty of times.
So now I have to accept that this is who she is and cannot or won’t change her but I need to remember the things I don’t want people to know I cannot tell her which is annoying. Like you’re an adult. You’re 50s and I’m not yet 40. Ugh
Late rating
My spine doctor recommended I get an attorney because I am late getting my rating. This is my first time dealing with workers comp. And apparently a late rating means less money. Is this true? I meet an attorney next week, but I am just over everything and I am in debt for not working almost 18 months. But I am still in pain and I just don’t know what to do. And I guess if I get an attorney, he’ll be able to fight for more money for the case, but most of that money is going to him.
Of course temperatures are increasing, I had the fan blowing in my face.
Didn’t know it would trigger my Trigeminal nerves and it did. I immediately stopped and in a few days I feel better. I don’t feel pain and I can wash my face and brush my teeth in peace. I am encouraging everyone to journal your triggers to reduce flare ups and anxiety!
Please have a healthy sleep routine
Try your best to reduce stress
Take your meds consistently
And be Mindful of triggers.
This has helped me… for now. Positive thoughts and prayers for you all ❤️
Has anyone heard the news about Cymbalta duloxetine linked to cancer? From different pharmaceuticals?
reddit.comFlare-up
I started having a flareup for about a week now. And I couldn’t figure out why. Have I been stressing a little? Have I been sleeping pretty OK could be better. Just lost a family member and have been crying. But now I realize it’s because of my fan.
Has anyone ever had this before?
AI said this definitely could have triggered it.
Thank God, the pain is not bad, but I feel like it started when I took the fan out because it got hot. I would like to put the AC on but Jesus Christ these electric bills are so high.
Has anyone had a supplement that has helped? Or tried Botox for migraines and it also helped with pain?
reddit.comLasikPlus 3 years later and my eyes are too blurry to ignore. I cannot see the exit signs… if in a meeting I cannot read what’s on the board… should I get it done again or just go back to wearing glasses??
reddit.comDenied for MVD
Has anyone found relief with meds and were able to decrease mg after a year? If so,
How did you know when to start decreasing mg? Anyone tried acupuncture? Went to the chiropractor? Herbal Remedies? That has worked?! Even if you didn’t completely get off medication
Adderall
Hello all. I was wondering, has anyone been on ADHD medication? Do you feel like the meds make help/no change/exacerbate headaches which triggers flare ups and or pain?
