Is it wrong to dislike chronicles?

I'm currently on my yearly read through the Bible again, this is like my 5th or so time, and I'm on 1st Chronicles again and I just do not enjoy it.

For the most part it's just a genioligy of a ton of people that before this, the Bible didn't speak much on and after this doesn't bring up most of them ever again. There is a part that Recaps the Kings a bit but then it goes right back to giving a geniology of nearly every single person who was either in the military or a Levitie.

I dunno if it's my autism but I have such a hard time not blending names together when they throw them at you one after another and I just get lost on who was who and also care less about it because of that.

Additionally, outside of the recap of the Kings, we get almost nothing in reguards to God and His teachings which is what I really want to hear.

Sorry for the negative post, God bless.

Question about NG+

So I saw that this is an option now, I'm not anywere near being done my current rub but I was thinking of trying a monotype run after this and sadly the type I want to try is Ice and that ain't exactly easy to do right out the gate. Sure I could use the code to let Eevee be a starter and say it's fine cause EVENTUALLY it will be a glaceon buuut I caught a shiny Alolan sandshrew ( AND I LOVE IT ) And was hoping to use it as my starter. When you start a NG+ are you able to carry over any of your pokemon or no?

Thoughts on active praying

So for me I find it very hard to sit still and pray sometimes. I think it might be a part of my autism, I'm not sure. But I tend to pray while I'm activly doing something. For example, while I'm getting ready for bed, adjusting my blankets and pillows and what not, I pray.

Do you think this is disrespectful to God or disingenuine?

Thoughts on spiritual growth/regession(Warning sensative topic)

Hey all, so I wanted to start this discussion with being open and honest about my own struggels to show that I am by no means perfect nor do I think I am.

Ever since I was 13/14 don't quite recall, I found much as many teens do falling into sexual lust. The problem for me was, I did not know what it was I was doing and because I only knew how it felt I did it whenever I wanted without moderation. This in turn made it far more difficult for me as I got older and found out what it was I was doing.

There has been many disccusions on wether it is or is not a sin but many agree that done with lust in mind, it is.

While what I use to do it is tame 99% of the time, I have delved into more mature things and that genuienly bothers me.

This topic is to adress something in reguards to this. I pray daily for God to shield me from the intrusive thoughts and feelings that can lead me to this as I know I am weak and have a very hard time resisting. I am autistic and thus when something pops into my mind weather it's in reguards to sexual lust or something I want to get done, my mind hyper fixates on it and it is very hard to do anything other then focus on it. On top of that I am stuck at home 24/7 as I am mostly blind and unable to drive and the closest place to me, being my church is a 45 minute walk away. And finally, despite my many attempts to follow in the words of the bible of if you cannot resist, then take up a wife. Paraphrasing of course, I have not been able to meet someone willing to give me a chance at a relationship.

And no I don't JUST want to relationship for that reason, I have desired to have someone in my life for a long time just to be with, to share my joy and my troubles with, and I share in theirs. I'm very much a cuddly person and have often wanted to have someone to snuggle with.

But I'm getting off track. Despite all this, when I do give in, if it happens to be that 99% using something to take care of my urge, I don't feel any rebuke from the spirit, even though I do lust physically for the image I see. But when it is the 1%...I feel deep shame and reproach.

Dose this mean my spirit is waning? That I am further from God and Jesus? I don't THINK I am. As it is said that Jesus will never leave or forsake us, and I love Him dearly. I try so hard to be Christ like daily. I read the word, I pray often, I do my best to hold back my anger, I go out of my way to avoid old vices, I even pretty much gave up watching anime as a whole. I may watch a show hear or there but I find it very hard to want to go back to watch a whole series.

I do my best to encourage others on here and the other 2 Christian Reddit's I am a part of and have given my testamony many times to help others get through what they are going through. I confess daily to God that I know I am weak and a poor servant, but I know He will never give up on me.

So my queary is, am I just drifting from God? Or am I somewere were I understand failing happens and thus I just pick myself up to try again?

Thanks to all who take the time to read and reply.

The Chosen and how it's effecting me.

I am currently watching through The Chosen. It is a live action show that depicts the life of Jesus and His deciples in a very interesting narative.

Personally, I love their portrayal of Jesus. We can all sometimes forget that for a time, Jesus was human. He has a great sense of humor and also has to learn from God as He goes in what to say and when to say it.

One thing I feel they captured well is how Jesus is the Son of God yet also a part of Him. He knows things that should seem impossible to know and yet He has to spend time making His sermons and making sure He is saying what needs to be said.

I am currently at the start of season 3 and a scene just played that really hit home for me. I won't say what it is to avoid spoilers but for those who have already seen it and know, I want to share little about me so you understand why it hit so hard for me.

I was born with a malformation on the right side of my face that makes it look like I have a tumor. At the time of my birth there was no treatment for it and the doctors projected I would die when I was 20 from it, I am now 38.

I have endured many hardships due to it and many outside of it and while I can't say I was gracious in my suffering at the times of my lowest points, to this day I do trust and Love God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit dearly.

The scene I am talking about truly made me realize that despite my condition, despite God not healing me even though I have asked many times, it dosen't mean He is ignoring it or punishing me for something, it means that whatever I can do for his kingdom will be so interesting BECAUSE of it.

I do not know what my mission is fully, I have prayed often for God to set me on whatever path He wants me on and I still do, but I trust He will make sure were I need to be to do what it is He wants me to do. I just have to listen and be ready.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I HIGHLY recommened watching The Chosen if you can. I think the most common place people watch it is on Amazon considering if you have Prime you can watch it.

God bless.

Question reguarding entering a design I made for the cosmetic contest.

If I drew a design but then hire someone else to draw it better, am I allowed to submit the better pic I payed for? I only ask because I have a design I made but I'm ganna be real it looks not great as I'm crap with drawing. I'm not going to ask for the artist to make and changes to the costumes design, just make it look better.

Faith feels line a balance beam sometimes

It is written that faith without works is dead, but we also need to remember that works do not get us into Heaven, faith in Jesus dose. Sometimes it can feel like I'm just running in circles when it comes to this thought line.

I try my best to do what works I can being mostly blind, unable to drive, and living off social security. I post to Christian reddits often trying to help others struggeling in their walks and I pray for them and other all the time.

Yet despite this I find myself wondering if I'm doing enough works and then I hit that thought of "works' don't save you" so then then I'm wondering am I putting to much focus on trying to do works rather then am I doing them because I love Jesus? And then I try to take a step back from it all and then my mind is like hey, remember that faith without works is dead and then it just spirals again.

Dose anyone else ever feel this way?

I trust in Jesus, and I love Him and proclaim His name to others, and I WANT to do good for His kingdom but I worry sometimes I focus to much on doing the good I stop focusing on Him and my brain just goes bleh.

Being silent before God

I just went on a walk down my street. Kept my mind empty for the most part and just observed the surroundings. It was peacfull and quite enjoyable. I think being silent before God is to stop and appreciate all He has made and done for us.

I'm not an expert but just wanted to share these thoughts. God bless.

I am a sinner

I see so many people asking if God will forgive them or still love them after they sin. I to have sinned, and still sin to this day despite my efforts not to. I have struggled with sexual sin in the form of masterbation through lust since I was 14, I am now 38. When I was a teen I did not know it was a sin and thus did it as often as I liked which in turn made it much harder on me in my adult life when I learned it was, via lust.

I'm posting this as a woe is me story but as a testamony for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I know I sin and I hate that I do. I have cut many things from my life and activly try to avoid things I know would trigger old desires. That being said, I never felt once that God was to far away from me because of this. I know He doesn't want me to sin, and I genuienly do not want to do it. I trust in His power and love to see me through this ordeal and know that His love and reach is never to far for me.

This is not a message to say it's ok to keep sinning, because it's not. It's a message of hope for those who are struggeling with sin.

Let us pray for strength of spirit from God to overcome the urges of the flesh and the desire to do His will over our own.

More modded Grace pics

Just finished my 5th playthrough and got some great pics. Love the ones with 2 Graces thanks to Grace over Leon mod lol.

More Grace fixed modded photo mode

Just some more pics of Grace in the hoodie mod made by SinderyMonk ( love their stuff ). For those who are wondering how Grace is in Racoon City, that is the Grace over Leon mod made by Cazo. Both mods are on Nexus mods.

But yeah I'm just having to much fun with photo mode with this mod lol.

I love the lighting on the pics in front of the window. I also did play with the filters some.

The Horse statue pics were fun to come up with. 2 being horror themed as if it was coming to life to attack her, and one just being silly ( kind of reminds me of skits were bad guys and good guys are all just actors who are actually chill with each other after the story is over )

Then one of my faves is Grace sitting by the dead BSAA members, taking a moment to thank them for all their hard work in fighting bio terrorizim.

I love this mod. ( made by SinderyMonk on Nexus mods)

I love Grace as a protag and I'm glad she's getting a lot of love from the ( Safe for work ) moding community and this is by far my favorite one. That with camera mod was just so fun to play with. The jump kick was pssibile thanks to the Grace of Leon mod made by Cazo on Nexus mods.

Here is my thoughts of which pokemon Leon would have. I tried to base them off of specific things about him rather then generalization.

Stoutland- Loyal and a guardian to others. A roll Leon has filled many times.

Mega Blazakin - Leon really seems to favor kick based finishers and while hitmonlee could have worked I wanted to make sure there was a starter on his team. Not to mention he would def have a mega.

Kleavor - His hatchet skills are no joke so I feel Kleavor is a perfect fit.

Cobalion - The leader of the swords of justice. Leon has since day one been fighting for the greater good and to save as many as he can.

Greivard - Sadly, Leon mourns those he hasn't been able to save often and He would have this little pokemon as a reminder of what he is fighting for.

Absol - Aside from the obvious refrence to his emo phse in RE4, Leon IS the disaster to all the villians he comes across lol.

I personally feel most of her team would be either smaller or unevolved pokemon.

Whismur&Sobble - Represent her timid nature

Cubone- Represents >! the loss of her mother !<

Kangascan- Represents >! Her newfound motherhood at the end of the game !<

Palafin - Represents her journy from the person she was at the start to who she is at the end of the game.

Rotom ( Specifically phone form ) - As an introvert myself I feel it just feels fitting to have a pokemon that involves tech lol.

Anyways these are my opinion but if you guys have any other thoughts on potental team members let me know.
