The spores seemed to be doing fine then this developed. There are lots of other areas growing. Should I take a transfer from each of the other areas?

I see mycelium growing out from this center area (yeah!) But as I move the stage up and down this blob in the center that looks like it has thick tentacles comes into view.

Is it a more 3-D look at the mycelium, or is it something else?
