Hey all,

I can't count the amount of jobs I apply to where I either get declined, ghosted, or just never hear anything.

I've read a slew of different resume articles and help things but I'm not sure what more I could do to my resume. Any help is appreciated, I feel so desperate and dead end.

Thanks in advance, I've read some other threads here and you guys are heroes.

Looking for information on a 12-string guitar, not an appraisal

Hello guitar!

Picked up this 12-string Alvarez guitar and I'm having difficulty finding any information on it.

I haven't been able to find anything with a specific model number and the serial number isn't pulling anything up either.

I don't have any clue as to how old this guitar might be?

Edit: comprehension police are out today. I see plenty of info on the 5221, but I'm looking for more info specifically into the Alvarez Regent 5221a. I've tried a variety of searches and serial number decoders with no luck.

Edit 2: I've searched several different engines and I see results for 5221, but not 5221a. Also, the sticker inside reads alvarez regent and the results I've found searching just Alvarez and looks different than the picture posted , but without the a. Additionally, running the serial # didn't yield any results.

Some condescending responses here Jesus. Remember to spray some febreeze on your chairs from time to time.

Last minute, but best route to Newark Airport?

Hey y'all,

I'm getting ready to head to Newark airport and curious in your experiences what the best route is.

I realize it's subjective, but the smoother the ride the better. Also, will I need cash for tolls or do the booths have toll readers?

Edit: thanks for the replies y'all! And a random downvote? Lol I live in Central CT and very rarely drive down to the tail so all of this info was helpful.

Additional edit: guys, if train was an option we would have done that. I'm asking for driving advice, not alternatives. What is it with reddit's inability to answer questions and feel the need to just mansplain the super obvious? Comprehension is weak here.

99 dodge stratus, no bus, hot conditions.

Hey dodge!

I have a quick hopefully easy to answer question.

Under normal conditions, my '99 Dodge Stratus with 95,000 miles runs beautifully. There's been a couple hot days up here in New England where I'll drive my car in the morning and the instrument panel works fine, I leave work and it's hot out but then my gauges don't work and my odometer displays zero.

I've done some reading and it looks like that's common with Dodges called a no bus error, but I have the following questions:

  1. I have a new battery and all the connections seem fine. So is this just an error that pops up when the internals get hot?

  2. Is it safe to drive?

Like I said everything is current and runs beautifully and this was an absolute steal, I just want to make sure I'm not risking any damage by driving it with this error.

Edit: I had a hunch so I wanted to try something. I read about previous errors that would stay a no bus would trigger if it was too warm. In the past it would take several hours before the panels would start working again. I got home from work, parked my car in the shade and propped up the hood, about an hour later everything's working normal. Mileage will vary, but that's a fix I was able to come on and I hope it helps whoever finds this too.

Hikes where you can see Mountain Laurels.

Hey CT!

Anybody have any insight on hiking trails or areas where we can see plenty of blooming Mountain laurels? And if not, did we miss that peak?

Appreciate your help and looking forward to some new spots to check out!

Searching for the cool crisp taste of Kona Hanalei IPA.

Absolute reach, but does anyone happen to have anymore of these? I saw recently they no longer distribute and that's a giant bummer.

Absolute in the wild find.

Went to a record sale this weekend and figure you homies would appreciate this find. Yes, I did take it home.
